This gorgeous lake home 6 miles from the races at Lucas Oil Speedway has 1,000 square foot of deck space with an amazing view of the lake, great for grilling, get togethers, or just relaxing on the porch swing.

Nearest boat ramp and beach is one mile away at the Wheatland public use area. Nearest golf course is Shadow Lake, just one mile away, and just six miles away are the races at Lucas Oil Speedway. Less than one mile to conveniences, (gas, restaurant, bar). We are just south of Hwy 254 on county road 203. Harbor Marina and restaurant over by the dam is just a 5 minute drive.

Beautiful sunroom with hide-a-bed and fireplace for those cooler mornings to enjoy the view with your coffee. Master bedroom has queen bed and it's own patio door that opens onto the deck. 2nd bedroom has double bed. Living room has hide-a-bed and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view. Downstairs guest bedroom has queen bed, half bath and it's own private entrance that opens onto it's own deck. Fully furnished right down to the towels and soap. 2 driveways for plenty of parking and a single carport.

About Jodie Toler

We are locals! John was born just down the road from here and has lived here all his life. I moved to the area in 1997, but have had family here since I was born. We live close by and we LOVE this house. If it had a little more land with it we would live here ourselves. You can find us on the lake nearly every weekend, and we hope you do! We think the lake and the area are very peaceful and uncrowded (except maybe in town on race night lol) which is exactly the way we like it. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this house unique

The best part of this house is the deck. It's HUGE! It wraps around 3 sides of the house and has 5 patio doors that open onto it. It's so great for grilling out and I could never get tired of sitting on that porch swing and watching the lake. And all the floor to ceiling windows in the house just make it feel like you never had to go back inside...gorgeous!

Go to lucasoilspeedway.com for schedule. Pomme De Terre Lake one mile away- Great fishing, boating, skiing, jet skiing. We spend every weekend of the summer on this lake and then some...we love it! Truman Lake 15 miles away- known for some of the biggest catfish in the state. Truman Dam and Visitors Center 30 minutes away in Warsaw. Shadowlake 18 hole golf course one mile away. The original Bass Pro Shops, where it all started is just one hour south of us. Lots of local flea markets and antique stores. Just an hour drive to Osage Beach where you'll find tons of attractions golf, mini-golf, water park, outlet shopping and much more. Our area is also known for many many caves, several open year round to visitors like Bridal Cave and Fantastic Caverns.

You should consider this place.

We would rate excellent if the living room had an HDTV mounted on wall! We were there over the NCAA basketball games and ended up watching all the game. Very nice, qiuet place to call home base and it was great for our dog to go out in back. Nice views and very clean. Jodie was great host and we enjoyed the welcome basket.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review Bob, that's exactly the kind of feedback we look for. Since reading your review we have replaced the living room tv with a flat screen HDTV. We've also added a fire pit, camping chairs for the firepit and 2 new lounge chairs for the deck. Will update website pics soon. The place is just as pictured on the website only nicer!! Lots of windows, spectacular view, nice open feel, great deck space. Very well appointed! Would most definitely stay again. Hate to give such a great review and have everyone find our great little spot and maybe too full for us next season but, the great review is well deserved!!! Thanks again for a great stay.

Vacation get away!

We just got home from our vacation and already miss this house! John and Jodie were great to work with and were very accommodating. We enjoyed the sun room, large deck and convenient location. We had several breakfast meals at Jack & Virginia's and it was always good, we also had a great dinner Lucky's. We went to Lucas Oil Speedway and had a great time. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to relax and just enjoy life. We got to spend time with family and made some great memories.
