Relaxation for the entire family in our cosy holiday home in a peaceful location on the edge of town. In our holiday home you will find two separate 60 m² holiday apartments for one to five people. Each holiday apartment has 2 bedrooms (a 2-bed and a 3-bed room), plus a bathroom with shower and WC. A living room with a completely equipped kitchen. The bedsheets are included in the price and are made upon your arrival. Travel bed and garden furniture and grill are provided free of charge. If you are tired from hiking or would just like to be lazy, watch your children play or you would like to have a cozy grill evening with the family. Our garden with more than 1000 m² invites you to do this. Schwenda is the ideal starting point for attractions and hikes through the bordering forests. We wish you a comfortable holiday.

In the middle of stunning mixed forests in the Harz at the foot of the 580 m high Auerberg, whose summit has the largest iron double cross in the world with 38m - here roughly 700 residents live in the region of Schwenda. Already in 532, the city was first mentioned in documents as 'Wenda under the mountain in Harzgrau'. ITs name comes back from 'schwendan, schwinden', (this means clearing, felling). Due to the ideal climatic conditions and the stunning scenic location, the city was turned into a holiday resort. Schwenda has preserved its village character and offers its guests the ideal relaxation so they can forget everyday stress and get new power while hiking through the wonderful, original nature. Harz offers many interesting destinations - whether architecture, history, culutre - everyone will find something here. Quedlinburg (World Heritage Site), Kyffhäuser, the 81m high Kyffhäuser monument and the Brocken.
