Our cottage was built in the mid 1800's and offers a quaint, comfortable and fun vacation spot. with all the modern conveniences. No bank waterfront with 120 feet of lake frontage over looking the beautiful Green Mountains. The house is large and cozy. The wrap around screened in porch over looks the lake and mountains. Large front and back lawns are perfect for lawn games. Golfing is 5 minutes away. 45 min to Lake George and Outlet Shopping. 30 minutes to Manchester offers great shopping and restaurants. Bromley Ski Mountain is only 45 min away and has an Adventure Park with an Alpine Slide and much more for the kids. Dorset is just 25 minutes away and is home to the Doreset Play House.

Just in town there are quaint shops, Vermont Country Store, antiques shops and more. Poultney's Farmers Market is on Thursday. Mini Golf at The Cones Point Store with 24 flavors of soft serve.

Escape To Paradise!: Large cottage on beautiful Lake Saint Catherine. No bank waterfront with large beach over looking The Green Mountains of Vermont. The house is roomy, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a large family or two families to share. Large green lawns in front and back are perfect for games. Motor boat, sail boat, canoe and kayak rentals are available on the lake. Owners have a peddle boat available to rent as well. Fishing right off of the dock is a favorite activity. Take the peddle boat to the State Park across the way to get ice cream and treats. We have a screened in gazebo on the waterfront for you to dine in or just sit and read a book. This property is on one of the few prime locations on the lake. Being on a small peninsula it gives you panoramic views and LOTS of sun exposure.

Area Attractions For Adults: Southern Vermont is home to many fun attractions. Dorest Playhouse in Dorset, Vermont offers a quaint theater with wonderful plays. Manchester is the perfect place to shop for Vermont treasures. Lake Geaorge area has all the Outlets you could ever imagine. Lake Saint Catherine Golf Course is beautiful and challenging. Farmers market in Poultney is on Thursday. Poultney is a historic town with museums and quaint shops.

Fun For the Family!: Bromley Ski Mountain has an Adventure Park which includes an alpine slide. Mini golf at Cones Point Store is always a favorite for the kids. Bowling in Grandville and Fairhaven is a fun evening adventure. Traveling north a bit is Pico Ski Mountain with an alpine slide and Killington Ski Mountain with many tourist activities and sights.

The area is known for its fishing, hiking, biking, bird watching, boating and golfing. Visit the scenic Lake St. Catherine Country Club (open to the public). With in a 25-45 minute drive are such activities as: Live Theater, Alpine Slide and Adventure Park, Antique Stores, Farmers Markets, Museums, Marble Quarries, Outlet Shopping, Restaurants, Mini Golf, Movie Theaters, Vermont Country Stores and much more!
