This completely remodeled & upgraded, three-bedroom, two-bath Condominium features beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico from the living room, screened lanai, and master bedroom. The spacious, open floor-plan includes a modern kitchen, dining room, a master bedroom suite, two guest bedrooms, and a guest bath.

The all-new kitchen features a center island, stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, disposal, all utensils & accessories, and a tray ceiling with painted tropical fresco. The master bedroom suite offers a king-size bed, flat-screen digital cable TV, a ceiling fan, and glass sliders to a screened lanai. The spacious master bath includes a glass-enclosed shower stall, a sumptuous garden tub, and a dual-sink vanity. Two guest bedrooms feature two twin beds each, a ceiling fan, and digital cable TV. Washer/Dryer in unit.

The Pointe Santo complex has two tennis courts (loaner rackets available), shuffleboard, a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, beach lounge chairs, barbecue grills with tiki huts, and a wonderful on-site children's activity program Monday to Friday. And, of course, 600 feet of beautiful beachfront.

About Al Dowd

My wife & I grew up in the northeast - she in New Jersey and I in upstate New York. We both enjoyed vacationing in waterfront settings - the Jersey shore and Adirondack lakes. We have lived in the Atlanta, Ga. area for over 30 years, which puts us within striking distance of several lakes as well as the Atlantic coast. But we longed for a winter escape. Sanibel Island has filled that need for us.

Sanibel Island is far enough south to fall in a subtropical climate zone, meaning it's warm enough even during winter months to enjoy summer activities - golfing, boating, swimming, cycling, walking, etc. In the summer, sea breezes keep it as cool as other southeastern coastal areas. As a result, Sanibel Island is a popular year-round tourist destination.

Sanibel Island has 60% of its land area set aside as nature preserves. Zoning restrictions limit the height of buildings to 4 stories. The result is a low-density tropical paradise with a laid back atmosphere. Close enough to all the shops, restaurants, and amenities of SW Florida to satisfy the ambitious. Tranquil enough for those who simply want to relax.

This meant it was not only a great place to spend time at a second home, but also a great place to invest. Pointe Santo has proven to be a first-rate family vacation destination that we love. In addition, it has an international reputation as a first-class family vacation destination. This results in repeat rental guests from all over the world.

We are free to do as much or as little as we want. Once our bodies adjust to 'Florida time', we feel the tensions of modern life melting away, allowing us to truly enjoy our time here. We enjoy being able to share those same experiences with our rental guests.
