SPACIOUS 2BR CABIN - PERFECT FOR FAMILIES! NEAR BRYSON CITY & CHEROKEE ATTRACTIONS! *HOT TUB*

Almond Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Bedrooms 2, Bathrooms 1, Sleeps 6

If you are a history buff, come to Western North Carolina as a way for your kids to learn about the mountain heritage of the area, especially the Native American history of the Cherokee Indians. Visiting the Cherokee Indian Reservation is perfect for learning about this fascinating history. The kids will love the museum, Indian Village and “Unto These Hills” outdoor drama, and the best part is: it won’t even feel like school.

If you stay in the Kountry Kabin, you’ll be minutes from the town of Cherokee. This 2-bedroom, 1-full bath cabin even has bunk beds for the kids. You’ll enjoy it because it’s not too rustic; you’ll spend evenings on the leather couches snuggled in front of the stone fireplace, watching your favorite shows on cable TV. Your kids will love the opportunity to cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows over the campfire pit out back and you’ll love the hot tub on the deck. A few hours of soaking and you’ll be relaxed for another day exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The cabin is in a perfect location, not too far from the National Park entrance. Visit the Oconaluftee Visitors Center or the Mountain Farm Museum, a late 19th century mountain farm with authentic log structures moved from their original locations throughout the National Park. Watch the elk in Cataloochee Valley or tour the Mingus Mill, a large water-powered mill. Later you can explore the almost 500 square miles of protected federal land and wilderness areas of this region. It won’t be too difficult as its beauty draws you in. You’ll wonder why you haven’t come sooner.
