Photos and Description of the Dicomano vacation rental

This is a pleasant farmhouse with a beautiful garden, quite detached from the surrounding 'feudo', a cluster of similar houses, partly dating back to the year 1000. In the basement there is a kitchen with adjoining dining room from which you have access to a large garden. Between kitchen and living-room there are some steps down to the bathroom (with shower), A half-staircase leads up to the living room which is divided by a large arch; in one part living room suite and fireplace, in the other dining-table and seating. Satellite TV for all German channels. Pets allowed. Two small staircases lead from the living- room to the two bedrooms. Accommodation: 4 people maximum. The last 300 m leading to the house are gravel, not suitable for low sport cars. Distance to Contea 3 km, Florence 30 km. The pool is in a central position for all the houses and has a nice surrounding.

Pianettole, the small 'feudo' is situated on a plateau with nice view. From here you go shopping by car to Contea (3 km). There is also a train station from where you can go by train to Florence. On Saturday morning, there is a nice market in Dicomano (10 minutes by car) Horse riding and fishing are nearby as well as the national park Casentino. There you can practise mountain biking and trekking. An information office is at the lake in Londa (15 minutes). Apart from Florence there are other tourist highlights such as the house at which Giotto was born or the bridge built by Cimabue.

Notes: In front of the fireplace there are comfy chairs, in the other part there is a dining-table and seating. There is a colour TV with satellite antenna. The kitchen leads to a loggia, there is a large dining table for more than 4 persons. From there you have direct access to the beautiful garden. In the kitchen there is a fridge with freeze department and washing machine. A half staircase leads down to the bathroom (with shower). Another half staircase leads up to the living-room and two other small staircases lead to the two bedrooms with double bed.
