Come relax in this beautiful intimate environment. This cottage has a large sun terrace, patio set and is surrounded by trees which offers great privacy. Enjoy views of the St.Lawrence or take a short stroll down to the water's edge.
The cottage is one bedroom/bathroom. A fold-away cot is available if required (it fits in the bedroom). The cottage is fully furnished, including a BBQ - you just need your clothes. WiFi and cable are included.
It is located just minutes 15 minutes from Quebec City with lots of nearby amenities in Levis - grocery stores, butcher, fromagerie, public market, restaurants, cinema, golf, bike path, etc. A beautiful space to unwind and relax!
We live in Montreal with our little daugther Anna. Mario is from Quebec and we spend as much time as possible there. I am from Newfoundland (small island on the east coast of Canada) and Quebec City is one of my favorite cities in the world! I have travelled a lot so that means something!
Leslie Russell purchased this cottage in 2011
Mario's summer cottage was just next door and his grand-father originally developed this area of cottages.
One wall of the cottage is entirely windows. So beautiful to wake up to the view of only water and trees ..... I love to have my coffee on the terrace and just relax.
Hi Mario & Leslie,
We just loved Quebec, the little towns and cafe' s, the old part of Quebec City.
We loved your little cottage, it had everything we needed and was close to the City. If someone wanted a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle, your cottage is ideal.
Great cozy, private home. Owners very accommodating. Short ride to beautiful downtown Quebec. Spectacular view of St Lawrence River
This cottage is a sweet contrast after a day of sightseeing in busy Quebec City: morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great way to start the day.
Excellent ,cozy & clean place with a lovely view of the St Lawrence river.
Quiet and peaceful place to enjoy with your family and friends
I spent 6 nights here with my two children, ages 9 and 11, and we were quite pleased with everything. Leslie was very easy to work with (via email) to make and adjust arrangements -- very prompt, friendly and cheerful. The house was exceptionally clean. There was a pull-out cot which was very firm; my daughter found it uncomfortable but my son was fine with it. Jean and his wife went out of their way and above and beyond the usual to help us out and make sure our stay was comfortable. I felt perfectly safe here which is very important to me as a mom traveling alone with two kids. It was good to be out of the busy city and in such a quiet and beautiful location.
We were enchanted from the moment we turned down the dirt road and found ourselves descending into a wonderful wooded home. Jean-Guy and Michelin were wonderful hosts, allowed me to practice my French, and left us to ourselves approrpriately. Do not miss the walk further down from the cottage to the actual river which is about 2 more switch-backs down. The cottage was plenty big for 2 adults and a well-behaved cat. Temperature controls allowed us to be as warm or chilly as we chose. Shower was clean, bathroom was a tight squeeze but worked well. The ONLY suggestion I have is to install additional towel racks or hooks around the bathroom. Kitchen is sublime, lovely, clean, up-to-date, fully stocked. We will definitely try for this again should Quebec "call." It was an excellent price and a terrific value. thank you! - Alice, Margaret, and Molly Blue
My husband and I really enjoyed our honeymoon stay right outside of Quebec City. The cottage was in a great location overlooking the river (which was very nice from all the glass windows in the living/dining room!) We really enjoyed having a fire on the back patio and cooking for ourselves in the nicely equipped kitchen. We had a couple very small issues, but the owners were nothing but polite and took care of them right away. The property was very clean and comfortable. We were not far from many attractions, including the ferry to Quebec City which leaves out of Levis, which was much nicer than driving in! We were also within 30 minutes of the Ile de Orleans, which was one of our favorite places on our trip. I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone who does not want to stay in the city and wants somewhere quiet, but is still close to all of the action.
