Perfect for a weekend with the boys

This is a nice, but not luxurious apartment...perfect if you are worried your friends may get a bit rowdy and break something (which we did...a small candlestick holder, and the owner was totally cool and overlooked it). That being said the common areas are clean and functional as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms. They have an iPod dock with a speaker, which was great for hanging in the main area on the 2nd floor. There's plenty of silverware, glasses, etc. in the cupboards, and the BBQ is good enough to cook it up for a big group. You'll feel at home in no time.
The layout does not show it, but there are not one, but two queen beds in the second floor bedroom, which was a pleasant surprise because we had 8 guys sleeping there. We never felt cramped at all, and the bathrooms on every floor were key when we were getting ready to go out. You may want to bring a couple inflatable mattresses, though, unless you want to buddy up in the beds or sleep on the couch or floor.
Access to the boardwalk was awesome. You literally cross Mission Blvd., walk 100 feet and you are right there...even closer on the bay side. Also, right nearby are two liquor/convenience stores, and Ralph's grocery store is about a mile north. There are also a couple brunch places within walking distance...don't think you have to stay in Pacific Beach, either, as we enjoyed walking up the boardwalk from the place to get to the bars/restaurants in PB.
Agents/ownership are very responsive, and I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Mission Beach. Thanks for providing our home for an awesome weekend!
