My husband James and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this home. We loved that it was secluded and private at the edge of the resort backed by the forest. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and watching deer out every window! The house is clean, comfortable and cute! There was plenty of space so we will have to come back with friends in the summer to enjoy all the warm weather activities at the resort and in the area. They have bikes in the garage we plan to use next time as well. A meal at the Lodge is definitely recommended as well!
We stayed at this house in March 2013 and it was our first time at Black Butte. We can honestly say that Black Butte is a very special place -- beautiful, connected to nature, just amazing. And this house has everything a family needs, from the great toys and games and cable TV and wifi in the house, to the great "toys" in the garage -- bikes, scooters, snow sleds (there was even a power boat in there!)
We brought our little kiddos and our dog and had all the comforts of home we could've ever wanted.
The house is also the last one before the state forest line that abuts Black Butte Ranch, so there's an added level of privacy and open space that is rare, even for Black Butte.
Lastly, the house was clean, open and clearly very well cared for.
We're going to make Black Butte a family tradition a few times a year, and look forward to many more trips there and to this house being our home away from home!
