Casa Atlantico is centrally located in the heart of “America’s Venice”, Cape Coral Florida. Minutes from the Caloosahatchee River and the well- known Cape Coral Yacht Club, single story living is comfortable any time of the year. Located on a cul-de-sac, the street has a limited amount of traffic and offers quiet enjoyment whether inside the home or outside. The ranch style home has recently been renovated, preserving original charm and at the same time providing modern conveniences.
The kitchen is fitted out with new Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, plenty of pots, pans and other cooking utensils. There is an ample supply of dishes, silver and glassware. The dining area can accommodate up to six people.
Guests will enjoy the living room that brings outdoor living inside with wicker furniture following a beach theme. The original terrazzo floor has been preserved and brings a reminder of days gone by and skills now lost. A large wall of sliding glass opens onto the west facing lanai, providing a view of the pool, canal, and oh yes, beautiful sunsets!
The Master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, with comfort provided by a pillow-top Falmouth mattress, tropical comforter and high-thread count sheets. An en-suite bath provides privacy, is bright and sparkling with new fixtures.
Two guest bedrooms on the south side of the home are each equipped with generous closets and share a nicely appointed bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the other offers twin beds, thus providing a variety of bedding alternatives.
There are flat screen televisions in the living room, and all three bedrooms. There is high speed wireless internet service throughout the home and on the lanai. A telephone is provided for toll-free calling throughout the United States and Canada.
The large, west facing lanai is furnished with a table, chairs and barbeque grill for enjoyable “dining out”. The in-ground pool is heated and measures 30 feet (9.1 meters) by 14 feet (4.2 meters). The pool is professionally maintained. There is a canal-side patio and an electrically operated boat lift (capacity of 3,000 pounds) available for guests wishing to bring their own boat or to rent one from one of the companies in the area. A short trip by boat through Bimini Basin will deliver guests to Redfish Cove and the Caloosahatchee River.
Shops, stores, restaurants and a seasonal “farmer’s market” are all located close by. Two bicycles are provided for guests wishing to explore the area- no hills, and bike lanes make for enjoyable rides, morning, noon or evening!
We Live in NJ and love to travel to Florida on business and vacation. It's our getaway when the air is cold and the snow is deep.
We were on business to Fort Myers when we discovered that we can stay in a comfortable home for the same cost as a hotel. So we searched for a home that we could eventually retire to. This home is located on a quite street with no thru traffic so walking or biking is safe. We enjoy being only minutes from the river from our back door. With Direct Gulf Access.
We enjoy staying at our home sitting on the linai with a cup of coffee in the morning watching the fish jump and catching up on email. Evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. Shopping is minutes away. The beaches are a short trip across the bridge.
