terrific

Spent a long weekend here with my wife, daughter and 2 of her friends and met up with 2 other families staying upstream for 2 days of rafting on the river. The house was as described (actually better) and was perfect for our needs - spotless (very important for me), very comfortable and with property to spare. Although a lot of our time was spent out of the house and on the water, I could see how others would appreciate its proximity to downtown Narrowsburg. But this place would be great even if you never wanted to go off of the property. There are great views up and down the river from the riverbank, especially as the sun starts to get low in the sky, and I really enjoyed sitting in a camp chair in the shallow water which extends well away from the bank bird watching (including Eagles) and watching smallmouth bass jump. Campfires and s’mores at night. And a sky full of stars. The girls made great use of the computer, and I was able to connect to my SiriusXM internet subscription through it so we always had music when we wanted it. We loved the train! It is clear that the owners aim to please. Highly recommended.

Great holiday get-away for large or small group

  • 4 of 5

We rented this home as supplemental housing to support a large family Christmas gathering at another nearby home. Clean, well maintained, and very well appointed, it met all of our expectations. It could have hosted our entire group had it been necessary!

It has an elevated commanding view of the Delaware River. The snow covered countryside views from the rear of the home was like a winter wonderland! Having stayed in the area before, we are familiar with the charms of Narrowsburg and nearby sites in all seasons. We would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives considering a getaway vacation in the upstate NY area any time of the year.
