In a quiet neighborhood lies our spacious bright and comfortable house with plenty of room and all the amenities of home.
You can enjoy stunning views from the living room and kitchen because the very large screened porch has sliding glass door that pocket back. You practically can live outside all day, on the porch or on the ground floor underneath the house, in the shade.
The master bedroom is very spacious with a walk-in closet and a private bathroom.
For boating lovers several boat ramps are close by. It is an excellent place for fishing, diving or snorkeling in the Gulf or the Atlantic. Perfect for peaceful kayaking, bicycling or walking. Public tennis and basketball courts are close by. A visit to Key West is definitely worthwhile and it takes only 35 minutes to get there. Conveniently close to Winn-Dixie and other shops and Bahia Honda State Park (one of the finest beaches of North America) Deer visit the yard every evening and birds abound.
You will find yourself adapting to Nature's rhythm very quickly and will not want to leave this Fisherman's Paradise ...
We are a family and we love water sports and Key West.
Anna Klumper purchased this house in 2012
The house is on the water, the ocean is overwhemingly beautiful. The people are so friendly and relaxed. Key West is amazing!
The large screened porch, the view of the ocean, the quietness, the comfort of the house and the year-round great weather all together make it close to Paradise.
I completely concur with Vyacheslav P.'s review below. The rental is as beautiful as it appears. It is peaceful, private, clean, light and airy - with a stunning view. Anna is a prompt, courteous and helpful host and communicator, even though she's a continent away. The internet connection performed perfectly, and I would add that the TV has HDMI inputs which enable it to work with a streaming device or as a monitor. We had no trouble using our ROKU streaming stick to connect to Amazon Prime and Netflix. There is also an excellent Pure Evoke internet radio which is quite simple to use.The deer are ubiquitous but - mischievous! Be sure to bring a bungee cord to secure the garbage can lid. You will find the cute critters are quite adept at "recycling" your trash if you don't. The neighborhood is fine for walking with a number of quiet side streets. In short, this Big Pine Key rental is an idyllic retreat.
The photos and description are very accurate. The house is clean and light, with open plan, a lot of windows and panoramic doors (practically wall) in the living room. We even did not use air conditioner and enjoyed ocean breeze both day and night. Internet connection was perfect all the time (important for us!). There are three bicycles and two kayaks for your use, which is great. Very peaceful and private location (lush greenery separates neighboring lots) with open water view from huge screened porch and living room. Deers practically live on the lot, they are so cute! Owners are pleasant to deal with, quickly answering all my emails questions and gave a lot of helpful advise (it was our first visit to the Keys). Absolutely ideal vacation place in my understanding, love it!
My wife and me found a great place. It is perfect quiet an relaxable.
Clean and friendly proberty. Close to Bar, Supermarket and everything.
We found it only great.
We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Anna's home. A beautiful view facing north on the water. The sunrises each morning were great on the upper deck. She has two kayak's for her guests which we used frequently to explore the waters and canals around Big Pine Key. Key deer came by the house daily and were certainly not afraid of us. We counted eight of them together one evening in her backyard. Several Iguanas also were present but they were not quite as tame as the deer! Anna was great to work with. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would recommend that her future guests try either the snorkeling or scuba diving at Looe Key. We went twice and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. A lot of great restaurants in the area as well. The Square Grouper and The Wharf were among the best. A very easy drive to Key West. We went there several times during our stay. For those who like the beach we would recommend Veterans Beach which is at the south end of Seven Mile Bridge on the Atlantic side. It has all the facilities you might need. The house was well maintained, everything worked properly, and it more than met our needs. Thanks Anna! Glenn and June
