Ideally located for a vacation in sunny San Diego our fully remodeled modern Mission Hills home has it all: spectacular views of San Diego Bay, Point Loma, and the Pacific Ocean, a beautiful heated pool, and outdoor dining with a built in gas powered barbecue. The house has hardwood floors throughout, a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel GE Monogram appliances, a large family room with an office, and an added loft space with additional bathroom. Spectacular Bay views as well as views of Point Loma from the living room, family room, upstairs loft, and the large balcony.

The approximately 3,000 square foot house has three bedrooms- Master Bedroom with a California King bed, additional bedroom with a Queen Bed, and a children's room with a twin over full bunk bed (bottom unit can sleep two). Two of the bedrooms overlook a beautiful garden and one overlooks the pool/patio area. In addition to the 7 guests in beds, there is additional accommodation for up to 2 additional guests (pull out sofa in downstairs living room for 2, 1 in upstairs loft, and Aero beds (can be placed in family room or in loft). Total guests 7-9.

Luxurious bedding with 800/500 count linens, microfiber towels, and pool/beach towels provided.

The pool has an electric powered cover for child safety.

Located above Old Town (5-10 minute walk to countless restaurants and shops in Old Town) in the desirable North Mission Hills section, the house is easily accessible from I-5 and I-8- you are less than 10 minutes from San Diego airport, Sea World, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Downtown and various beaches; 15 minutes from the center of La Jolla. 5 minutes from Little Italy and the Presidio. Liberty Station and Hillcrest are both 5 minutes away, allowing for great dining and shopping. Mission Valley shopping is also 5 minutes away.

Mission Hills is our favorite San Diego neighborhood- spectacular views, convenient to every attraction, beautiful neighborhood, and a spectacular house.

What makes this house unique

We love not only the house and its amenities which allow for many great activities (poolside barbecues, leisurely outdoor lunches, breakfast on the upper balcony overlooking San Diego Bay, and simply relaxing in the pool) but also being in Mission Hills- a morning and early evening stroll through this lovely community is a must. The location could not be more convenient- minutes to the center of Hillcrest, La Jolla, Little Italy, and Downtown, as well as Balboa Park. Mission Bay is less than 5 minutes away.

My family and I had an incredible time in San Diego, and after all our outings, it was so nice coming back to this inviting house. It was great relaxing in the heated pool. Each room was spacious and beautiful. Our 3 year old enjoyed all the toys that were placed for her and we were comforted by all the children's gates installed before we arrived. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a delicious chocolate bread from Denise and Kathy. One day during our stay, my husband left with the stroller in the car, so I contacted Denise to see if she happened to have an umbrella stroller I could borrow and she was over in less than 10 minutes with hers to lend to me. She was so friendly and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again.

Easy rental, great communication, and Denise showed us around this very nice home. The pool was great for the little kids (it's not big). They have thought of everything - water chilled, pool towels, laundry detergent, etc. Very close to Old Town and 10 minutes from everything (seaworld, zoo, downtown) via Freeways. House was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. You need a car. The minivan rentals will fit in the garage but it is a tight squeeze. No drawbacks. Helpful neighbour even though unseen cleaned pool and put out trash for us.

This is the very best rental home in San Diego. We have stayed before and came back because
of the owners and manager as well as the cleanliness and detail to every need a guest could want!
Great location in Mission Hills close to Old Town. Truly a lovely "home away from home".

Comfortable, family friendly home

We had a great stay at this Mission Hills home, the owner pays attention to the details and very accommodating to families with small kids. Before arrival, upon inquiry from the owner, I requested for gates around the staircases due to traveling with small children. I was delighted when arrived to see the gates were pre-installed for us. The owner through her manager left us a loft of delicious chocolate bread from a local bakery, and bottles of water in the fridge. The house is roomy and open, enough room for the young children to run around. We also found some children toys in the bedroom, so the kids were also enjoying that. The appliances are top notch, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool, but it would have been nice. I has a nice retractable cover, again very kids friendly. We has always stayed in rented home on our vacations and never felt compelling to leave a feedback until this one. Thanks for the great accommodation Kathy!

GREAT home for family vacation!

This house was excellent for our family of five plus 2 grandparents. Our kids range in age from 1-8years and the open floor plan, one level living, and ease of access to laundry were just what we needed. The location has excellent access to the local attractions such as Sea World, the Zoo, etc. The pool was perfect for afternoon swimming. The home is well maintained, very clean, great appliances, plenty of towels and linens. They had even stocked coffee and laundry supplies! What more can a busy mom ask for on vacation! We used the home's pack and play and high chair. Two thumbs up! Our friends had stayed here the year before and gave it glowing reviews - this house delivers.
