The main feature of this property is its convenient location, in the vicinity of so many amenities. If you do not have your own transportation then this is the right vacation location for you. And if you do have a vehicle, there's a parking spot waiting for you. Either way, you'll be fine.
Location, location, location!
I stayed in this very convenient apartment on a get away and found it very comfortable! It was as advertised with several amenities and I really enjoyed my stay. It is secure, on the ground floor, close to local attractions. The host was most cordial, making sure I was settled in and assisted with transportation during my stay. I have 2 issues however..... The living room is a little dim, a floor lamp would help. The bed is high off the floor, a little challenging to get onto. A step stool and a high bedside table would be helpful. The kitchen had sparse utensils, a few more plates and glasses please! These a minor issues that I hope the hosts will appreciate, I would recommend this apartment to others and plan to use it again.
I stayed here and it was very comforting, clean and welcoming...Great Place to stay as it is close to the park, restaurants, bars and a lot more...You won't regret staying here...I rate it 9 out of 10.
I stayed at this apt with my mother for a few days for a graduation. Great location, close to EVERYTHING- including Emancipation park, Half-Way Tree, restaurants, cabs, banks and public transportation. The location feels secure; the front gate security is friendly and is present 24 hours a day. The apt feels like home, it is a small cozy and clean space. There is cable, an in-house water tank, hot water, microwave, refrigerator and stove. The posted pictures were all very accurate, except for the fridge. The parking is secure, and the neighbors are quiet and friendly. Probably the best feature of the apt is the owner, she is super friendly, answers questions promptly, very flexible and accommodating, very organized, and she ensures you have the information you need. In addition, the price is very reasonable!
Cons: the apt is a tad dated and could use a new couch and fridge (the one I saw was not the one pictured). And, there is a minor ant issue that the owner is working to eliminate.
For good eats YOU MUST visit the Tastees restaurant close by- the patties (coco bread and meatloaf) are awesome! Also, the restaurant called Nyammings at Twin Gates Center- close to Half Way Tree Center- has DELICIOUS local cuisine.
I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND this property to my friends and relatives in the future.
For a day of sunshine and sea breeze visit Fort Clarence Beach, within 10 miles of this accommodation (taxi can be recommended/ arranged). For culture, visit The Little Theatre (within 15 minutes walk). For local cuisine visit Jamrock Restaurant on Knutsford Blvd (6 - 8 minutes walk) or Chelsea Jerk Centre (12 minutes walk). For the nightclub scene there is The Quad. For a quiet day in the park visit Emancipation Park (2 minutes walk), Devon House (which has a restaurant and world-famous ice-cream parlour - 20 - 30 minutes walk; you may need transportation for this one) and Hope Gardens (about 15 minutes drive).
