The beach is just steps away from your front door. The private balcony overlooks the pool area and has an ocean view. The unit is on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. It is directly in the middle of the complex, unit 215d. The weather in this area is a mild 80 degrees most of the year and the humidity is low because of the natural ocean breeze. There are lounge chairs at both the beach and the pool, and on the balcony.
The unit has 3 large screen TV's with both Dish Satelite Cable and 900 newer release movies on demand for free. Each bedroom has it's own TV. There is a high speed WIFI connection in the unit and throughout the complex.
There are 4 sea kayaks available with the condo. Snorkeling is right in front of the beach, no need to drive to snorkel. The reef is one of the best snorkeling areas in the Riviera Maya.
A 5 minute walk to the marina allows you to swim with the dolphins at dolphin discovery, parasail, deep sea fish, scuba dive or eat at over of a dozen marina side or ocean front restaurants, many run by Americans offering quality seafood and mexican and american quisines.
There is also a wide variety of shops at the marina. A short drive from the resort gives you spectacular beaches, cenotes, water parks, ruins, night life and shopping. Cancun and Playa del Carman are just a short drive away. Another favorite is to take the ferry over to Cozumel Island which you can see from the condo.
If your into the night life, check out Cancun or Playa del Carman just a short drive away. There are spectacular ruins south of the resort at Tulum or drive another hour and see the tallest ruin at Chichen Itza. Coba ruins are also a must see. Check out the Tulum beach and make sure you eat at the Ty restaurant on the beach featuring fresh seafood dishes added to the currie.
There are two spectacular water parks call Xel Ha and Xcaret. You can pet the turtles, stingrays and parots at these parks and see sharks, fish and all the native wildlife including pumas. The restaurants and beaches at these parks are out of this world.
This resort is completely safe and behind a guarded entrance. We have not had any issues with theft, harassment or trouble. There are no vendors on the beaches. One of the best hospitals in Mexico is only 15 minutes away. There is a huge grocery store right across the highway from the entrance to the resort.
Come and enjoy Puerta Aventuras. We shopped up and down the Riveriera Maya before making our investment in this resort and it is by far the most exclusive, safe and nicest resorts in the area.
