About Pamela and Nicol Tifft
Our small farm is indicative of our 'self-sustainable' lifestyle. Nicol is a veritable 'jack-of-all trades' who did the restoration of our home and our barn. He is the organic vegetable gardener, the logger, the farm maintenance man and an excellent cook. Pamela is the native Mainer who keeps the perennial beds in some semblance of order as well as being the managerial staff of Rocky Hill Farm. We have traveled extensively over the years and some of our favorite places to stay have been small apartments or cottages in rural communities.
Pamela and Nicol Tifft purchased this studio in 1988
Why Pamela and Nicol Tifft chose Saco
We built our studio apartment in our beautiful restored barn for our daughter and her husband. When they moved to New York City, we decided that it was time to invite travelers like ourselves to our little corner of the world. It has been a wonderful experiment and we are very happy to be host/hostess to the amazing people who choose to visit.
What makes this studio unique
Our farm allows you the opportunity to experience first hand a small working organic farm. Our location is an excellent 'jumping off' point for many of southern Maine's wonderful attractions.
