Private atmosphere in the most beautiful wellness ambiance

Even the most demanding of guests will have every wish fulfilled in regards to comfort. On the edge of the beautiful stork village you will find rest and relaxation for those who want to escape from everyday life. A large living/dining area (42 m2), 3 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, 2 bathrooms, a sauna and a fireplace, altogether 160 m2 living space, forms a refuge where you can comfortably retreat if the weather shouldn't play along. A 2nd living room in the glazed dormer, a surrounding gallery, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, enough dishes, a large dining table - this is how you can feel at home and you don't have to miss out on anything on holiday. The house is secluded on a 1,001 m2 property and is surrounded by well-kept grass and a wonderful flower garden. Three terraces invite you to unwind, depending on the sun. Large library, SAT-TV, video, DVD, stereo system, garden furniture - perfect!

Free internet access: The technical requirement for a fast, problem-free internet connection was fulfilled with the set-up of a DSL flatrate (6000), which is available to our guests free of charge.

You just need to bring along a laptop or notebook, since no PC is available.

Free telephoen flat-rate: We have a telephone flat-rate. Thus, all calls in the German landline are free. Just calls to cell phones and abroad will result in costs that must be paid.

Bergenhusen is a proud stork village. Here you will find 14 - 18 stork couples. In the attractive natural protection centre storks are taken care of year-round. The climate is mild throughout the year. Bergenhusen is a sophisticated city with about 900 residents and is located 48 m (!) above sea level, embedded in a soft hilly, water landscape made of wide meadows, moor and forest. Under high trees you will find nice properties. During the summer, mallow, phlox and roses bloom from the lovely gardens. White thorn bushes keep the west wind out. You will feel secure, tranquillity enters - here you can be alone with yourself and nature. The air has traces of salt from the North Sea. Breathing in deeply is worth it. You can go hiking and cycling for hours and discover new paths. A different landscape that you will not soon forget. North and Baltic Sea are each 30 minutes away.

Other Activities: Paddling, canoeing, tideland hikes (North Sea), swimming by the nearby river and sea (Baltic and North Sea)

Golf: The closest golf course is in Hennstedt on the Gut Apeldör (www.apeldoer.de) or in Sankt-Peter-Ording, directly behind the dike. From Bergenhusen to Hennstedt is a 20 minute drive, to Sankt-Peter-Ording about 50 minutes.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (Euro) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • In addition to this is € 90 for final cleaning, bedsheets and towels and dishrags! After this, there are no more costs! No separate utilities are charged. The price includes: sauna robe, the usage of the sauna, firewood and everything else that belongs to the house, including the library and videos, the stereo system with a lot of CD'S and, and, and... You will find the house in a clean condition on arrival, the beds will be made so that you can begin your holiday from the first minute of your arrival.
  • No security deposit is charged. Guests are liable for possible damages. They should be reported and regulated on site. The house is cared for by a neighbouring couple who are available for questions. The key handover occurs through our neighbour.
  • The house is rented from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival is 16:00. Departure is 10:00. Outside of the holiday times, the house can also be rented on a daily basis (at least 5 days). Agreements can be made with the landlord directly for this.

  • During the spring, the flower garden begins to bloom. First, the countless daffodils, tulips and crocus come. Then the spring and summer flowers come. When all of the buds open in the spring and the poppies come with their large red buds, you have the feeling of being in front of a painting from Emil Nolde. During the summer, there are also English cottage roses that provide for excitement with thick heads in yellow, pink and salmon color. They are accompanied by thick lavender bushes that make for an experience with their scent and that of the roses - a cosy summer evening on the terrace. Round and bullet shaped box trees support the appearance of a cottage garden. The flower garden is the highlight in the stunning garden with a large lawn and the 3 terraces facing the east, south and west.

  • 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 single bed. The master bedroom is equipped with a 1.80 m wide French bed (RUF). Very good, new mattresses. The beds have good slatted frames. The smaller double bedroom has a 1.40 m wide wooden bed with a very good slatted frame and a latex mattress. The single room is equipped with a 1.20 m wide French bed. A relaxing sleep is guaranteed. There is enough bedding available. During the winter, you can use feather blankets. Bedding for those with allergies also available. During the summer, thin summer blankets are provided. The bedding is cuddly and warm depending on the season (beaver linens) or comfortably cool in the summer, with colorful cotton bedsheets. The guests will find the beds made on their arrival. The bedsheets are included in the price. Small 'cuddling pillow' is also included, along with night stand lights so that you can read at night if you'd like.

Notes: The furnishing corresponds with a fully equipped single family home with luxury! In the light, spacious kitchen it is fun to cook, the large dining table or the modern garden furniture invite you to snack. There is a library with more than 300 books, some of the newest literature, because the owners love to read. Here everybody will find something to read. A large toy box, CD's, nice movies (Video and DVD) help time pass if the weather isn't great. The house has large glass windows. As soon as the sun comes, the house radiates. Particularly the glazed dormer on the top floor has amazed most guests. Here you can unwind, read, watch storks fly or simply watch the clouds pass by. Two wide Italian sofas invite you to unwind or to simply relax. The unimaginable view into the wide landscape is good for your soul.
