Another wonderful stay!

We have just enjoyed another stay at this gorgeous heritage home. Last year, we stayed in the delightful suite downstairs. This year, we rented the upper level and had the most wonderful time with my parents and Grandma. Words cannot express just how special this home is. It has been wonderfully restored and every detail is perfect. Large windows allow you to take in the most wonderful views from every room including the pink cherry blossoms and Gary Oak meadows in Beacon Hill park just meters away. Or you can enjoy the view from the sunny patio or upstairs balcony. Light streams through the most beautiful stained glass windows and everything down to the light fixtures, doors, fireplace, and staircase make you feel like you have stepped back in time.
You have everything you need in the updated kitchen to cook up a storm. Or you are just steps away from a great pub and many fabulous restaurants on Cook Street. You can walk to some of the most wonderful places in Victoria. Beautiful flowers and ducks swimming in ponds await your discovery in Beacon Hill Park. You will find the sweetest baby goats, sheep, donkeys and peacocks at the Beacon Hill Children's Farm. You can walk down to the ocean and spend the day on the beach soaking in the sun and watching people fly kites. You don't need a car to explore the parliament buildings, museum, fabulous shops and restaurants of downtown Victoria. Don't forget to visit the Art Gallery and Craigdarroch Castle, also within walking distance. At the end of a day of exploring, you get to return to a place that has all the comforts of home and a comfy bed.
We want to thank Nancy for making our second stay so wonderful. Fresh flowers and chocolates were waiting for us when we arrived. We were thrilled to meet the lovely owners of the property last year. They are really the loveliest people you will ever meet and we thank them so much for sharing this treasure of a house. This is truly a gem which I cannot recommend highly enough for your stay in Victoria.
