Rent the Whole Chinook for a larger group of up to eight people! The Chinook is right in the heart of Yachats and an easy walk to all the restaurants, shops, and galleries in town. Nestled across from Yachats State Park, you'll have an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean!

Enjoy the very special ocean and park views from the two balcony decks off the living rooms. You'll see Cape Perpetua to the South and the Pacific Ocean to the West, and you will love hearing the waves crashing.

The living rooms are on the second floor with a great ocean view. Both have wood burning stoves, modern leather furniture, chaise lounges, wall mounted LCD TV's, and free wireless internet.

There are two full, gourmet kitchens and both have concrete counter tops, a dishwasher, a full range, microwave, ice and water dispensing refrigerator/freezer, stainless steel pans, cooking utensils, glassware, dishware, silverware, toaster, coffee maker. You'll love cooking here!

There are two master bedrooms on the second floor and each has it's own private full bath. The beds are standard king size beds that can be separated into two extra long twin beds. If you want that done, please make note in your reservation. The beds are very comfortable, with both down and foam pillows. The mattresses are high quality firm latex foam, with down comforters. Both bedrooms have TVs with built in VCR and DVD players.

The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are located on the first floor. They also have kings size beds that can be separated into two twins, and TVs with a built in VCR and DVDs.

The units have an interior connecting door to easily go back and forth between the units. And now we are Pet Friendly too! Each unit can also be rented separately for smaller groups.

We Loved It and Will Come Again!

Three generations of daughters gather here to celebrate her birthday – mother, daughter, granddaughter (daughter’s birthday). Beautiful place! We loved the view, easy access to beautiful beach and warm, cozy, home-like place to stay. We will come here again too! (God willing) Good times & Blessings here!

The Perfect Place!!

We Had Everything We Needed!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in The Whole Chinook. The townhouses are set up with very nice furniture, kitchen items, beds/bedding, and it was nice that everyone had a king-sized bed and bathroom. We had everything we needed!!! Everyone was comfortable and happy and we will have many fond memories of our time there. We look forward to our Yachats family vacation every year and hope we can use Sweet Homes Rentals again next year.

Fantastic Home!!

We stayed at the Whole Chinook for our family Thanksgiving. The location is fantastic, you could hear the beach from the home. Waldport was great for crabbing and Depoe Bay was awesome. It was really nice to have both sides of the house, both where very comfortable. We had a quiet side and a family side so there was always a place to escape. We got lucky to be there during a storm that was spectacular with the waves hitting the shore. It was amazing; there is nothing like the Oregon Coast.
