Our house is located amidst the beautiful nature and right next to the crystal blue waters of the Palio Gulf ('Glastres Beach'). At the next sandy beach (about 400m) you can use beach loungers and sun umbrellas or enjoy the Greek specialties in the tavern next to the sea. Palio is offering many small beaches with fine sand and traditional taverns where you can enjoy the specialities of the Greek cuisine. Relax in our green garden and enjoy the panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. Not only for our 'small' guests, the over 40 turtles are the biggest attraction of the house. A big barbecue is at your disposal any time. Our cosy fireplace cabin is waiting for you with a choice of Greek wines, different beers and other refreshments. We want to help ! We can help you in finding favorable airline tickets or car rentals. At request we can pick you up at the airports of Kavala (40km) or Thessaloniki (145km). Or we can organize a rental car at the airport for you and send you a detailed driving instruction to our house.
You have much to see...: If you are active persons, then you are at the right place. Within a small radius you have the possibility of visiting the ancient excavations of Philippi, father of Alexander the Great with its beautiful archaeological sites, the nature reserve of the Nestosdelta, the 2 million years old cave of Alistrati, the island of Thassos or take a trip to the old monasteries of our region. In only 10 minutes by car or bus, you can visit the astonishing sand dunes 'Ammolfi' or the crystal clear waters of 'Vrasidas beach'. Ammolofi beach has been voted as one of the three best beaches in Greece, especially for its water quality.
