TOP of mountain experrience! Be our guest in our comfortable, quiet, and relaxing home. Explore the endless outdoor adventures or relax on our large deck with a beverage and enjoy the beauty of the sights and sounds of the mountains. The Blue Ridge Mountains and the many State Parks with hiking trails, lakes, wild life, fishing and golfing surround you. Summer and Spring activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, and picnicking at one of the many waterfalls, rivers, meadows or mountain tops. Winter activities include skiing, snow tubing,sledding and hiking. MANY Christmas tree farms surround the area for that old time Christmas experrience. Choose and cut your own tree! Gondola rides to the top of Sugar or Beach Mountain Ski Resorts are fifteen minutes away. Take time to explore the quaint local towns, hiking trails and picnic grounds off the Blue Ridge Parkway, all from within a fifteen to thirty minute scenic drive from our home. Shop the galleries, antique shops and specialty shops of Blowing Rock and Mast General Store of Valle Crucis. GOLF at Mountain Glen Golf Course, within view of our deck or one of the other many courses in the area. A private road up to home will take you to your mountain retreat. Four wheel drive will be necessary in the winter months. Great for families or a romantic getaway.

My sister and I bought our home for our famlies to enjoy a relaxing and beautiful getaway. We both travel extensively for our jobs as a home inspector and flight attendant and cherish our home as a haven to unwind.

The view and house was great. Our family celebrated our mothers 70th birthday. There was no problems, we had a relaxing vacation. Hope to go back again. Would recommend to family and friends, even our 4 legged ones. Thanks Again.

Just the vacation I needed!

Found just what I needed - a quite, relaxing week to recharge my batteries. Great house in a quiet mountain town. Not the typical tourist area! My daughter, girlfriend and I enjoyed daily hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway followed by relaxing evenings on the HUGE deck. House had everything we needed to cook delicious meals outside on the grill. Greatest hikes include Boone Fork Trail and a short but incredibly spectacular hike from Grandfather Mountain swinging bridge to Macrae Peak. Another must do - Mast General store, both old and new, a short drive away in Valle Crucis. We will definitely make this a regular vacation!
