When you step off the porch of the Casita, you are in the most beautiful, fragrant shade garden. Relax on your private redwood deck and enjoy the pleasure of watching hummingbirds and butterflies play. Smell the extraordinary perfume of the trumpet trees and night blooming jasmine. You can catch the morning sun on the upper deck or the middle deck. Sit and relax in the blue alcove and you will feel like you've been transported to some tropical jungle. Wander into the back yard or down into the fruit orchard and pick some ripe, organically grown fruit. If you are a bird lover, visit the aviary where we have cockateils and budgies. Because we are located in a subtropical environment, our gardens and plants are beautiful year round. We also have great nightime views. Imagine how wonderful it would be to get away from the cold and snow and spend some time here in warm, sunny San Diego. Have a romantic getaway or bring the kids. We can accomodate up to 6 people. Come stay for a few days, a week or a month.

Downtown San Diego is a vibrant, energetic area with many fine restaurants, live music venues and broadway theater. We are very close to Coronao Island and the Silver Strand Beach, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Petco Park, the Convention Center, Seaport Village, San Diego Harbor, the Embarcadero, Old Town, Mission Hills, and much more.
