I am the Great grand daughter of Gus and Anna Spitzmiller, original Pioneers to Grand Lake. Gus was a plumber and his son Gordon married my Grandma Barbara. My dad, Chris Lorens, left the property to me when he died in 2008, and I have been making it 'top flight' since. I am a proud Colorado Mountain Woman, who now resides in San Diego, but spends lots of time where my roots are, i.e. Grand Lake.
It is full of soul and history and it is sooo beautiful!!!
Sits on colo river where it enters Shadow mtn. lake. I bet the Ntl Forest and Park Service--who own all the bordering land--wish they had taken this side of the river too, when they confiscated the Park land up here in the early 1900's.
Fully remodeled and luxury--through and through.
There really is not a property that compares in the Grand Lake region. Because you are on a 6 ac. meadow bordered by the river and lake--and have all protected land across from you--there really isn't a location in the entire County that compares with this one! The view alone is worth a billion dollars$$$
