parfait, propriétaire très sympathique

  • 5 of 5

Stay here if you visit Rome!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was truly wonderful. It is newly renovated and can be considered a luxury rental. Everything from the design, appliances, amenities, storage, and location were perfect. We even walked to the Colosseum, Forum, Vatican, etc..

The hosts were equally great to work with and had great communication. They were helpful and available.

We highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Rome.

Great location for exploring Rome

  • 5 of 5

This apartment worked out perfectly for us, since we were two cousins traveling together. The location, close to but not on the Campo dei Fiori, is perfect for exploring the main tourist sites. Angelo was responsive to questions and arranged driver for trip to airport, who showed up punctually on our last morning. I slept fine the bed which was very large and confortable. The apartment is nicely furnished.

Home from home

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here in December with my husband. We were a bit apprehensive booking directly through homeaway.com and paying in cash on arrival - we had never done this before - but after our lovely welcome from Angelo we realised there was nothing to be worried about. He was extremely helpful, provided us with a tour of the apartment, directed us on a map to the famous sites of Rome and recommended places to eat.

The apartment itself was very homely and well equipped. Everything you need. You don't even need to bring toiletries because is provided. The cooking corner was fully stocked with basic cooking essentials. Beds were very comfortable and plenty storage. Free wifi was a bonus.

The apartment was a five minute walk from piazza Navona and Pantheon. The Vatican is about 15 minutes walk.

We loved our stay and if any of us return we will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much to Angelo, you made our visit a home from home.

Wonderful home in Rome

  • 5 of 5

Myself, and my wife have stayed at this delightful property on four occasions now and it just keeps getting better.

Angelo and Rosaria have made subtle changes to enhance their guest's comfort during their stay. This shows that they are continually looking for ways to improve the service and amenities for their guests.

Once again Angelo and Rosaria did everything possible to make sure our stay in their beautiful home was the highlight of our city break.

I wouldn't dream of staying at any other property in Rome, great rooms, service and location tied in with excellent value for money, it doesn't come any better.

It feels like this is our 'Home in Rome'

The centre of the city of Rome is a picturesque area of cobbled lanes, lively squares, fashionable bars and renaissance palazzos as well as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the Spanish Steps and an infinite series of monuments, museums and churches containing many of greatest masterpieces of Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio and Bernini. The city centre is also the centre of Italian political life, and indeed the bars and restaurants surrounding Montecitorio and the Senate are often frequented by well known local and national politicians.

In ancient times, the area around Piazza Navona and the Pantheon was known as Campo Marzio, and was used as an outlying arena for sports and military exercises. However it was the 17th century Baroque masters - Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini – that gave the area its current appearance. Indeed, their churches, fountains and palazzos still inspire the same awe and wonder as they did when they were first built 350 years ago.

The area is well furnished with small restaurants offering typical Roman cuisine and bars in which to stop for a while after visiting one of the city’s monuments. The most famous bars in the area are Caffé Sant’Eustachio and Gelateria Giolitti, both of which are located close to our apartment.
