HARBOR HOUSE is 'Life on the Edge'. The panoramic views of the Harbor, Pamlico Sound, Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Atlantic Ocean provide memorable images and a thread to the past.
The general location of HARBOR HOUSE was first mapped by John White in 1585-1586. During the mapping, the vessels Moonlight and Hopewell, found the islands' surrounding waters treaterous and deadly for the crew. This was the beggining of the 'Graveyard of the Atlantic' legends and a significant contribution to the American Maritime History.
HARBOR HOUSE embodies American Maritime Architecture in a blend of modern convenience and traditional American Decor.

We are a family that enjoys the beach, fishing and great views as well as the slower pace to recharge our busy lives.
We built this home as our primary residence in mind. NOT a rental. Our family grew up on the east coast with many summers at the beach. HARBOR HOUSE reflects our enjoyment of turn of the century maritime architecture and coastal life we grew up around. This is one of the rare locations you can see a sunset over water in the east coast with a water view from the decks, windows and spatipus pool area with TIKI BAR. HARBOR HOUSE is optimal for enjoying the precious quality time with friends and family while relaxing in the sun, pool or just enjoying the fantastic views.
Quality time with Friends and Family to gather and catch up in a spatious kitchen area, pool, hot tub and Harbor walkway has been the feedback by many of the HARBOR HOUSE guests.
