We love the outdoors. We work hard and play hard. Every season has our favorite activities.
Winter time we love to ski, mostly Nordic. When the sun sets earlier, then its our time to catch up with a favorite book, in front of our open fire, with a cup of hot coca.
Spring, Summer and Fall, we horseback ride. Our favorite place is less than 45 minutes away. The horse and hiking trails go on for ever up in the Sierras. After a long day enjoying the outdoors, we love coming home to the comfort of our beautiful Log Cabin.
My husband and I have been traveling to the Sierras for almost 30 years. We used to stay in Hotels, but loved this area so much, and all the copious activities it had to offer, we decided to look for our own little piece of Heaven. It had everything we wanted. We loved the four seasons it offered. The Winter Wonderland. Nature coming alive in Spring. Summer Kayaking, picnicking, fishing, hiking, and having barbecues and making beautiful memories with our friends and family. Last but not least. Fall. Natures way of slowing us down to prepare for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Season. Time to remember all of our loved ones and know that each year we get to start all over again.
There is not just one unique detail about our home. We Love It All. Of course our beautiful kitchen has offered up some fabulous family fare. I do love our Double Oven though, because when we have a full house we get to cook our many favorite family dishes.
My own family travel from Ireland, and spend, as some of them say, 'The Best Vacation We Have Ever Had'. They love the uniqueness of our Cabin. the area we are in and how relaxed they feel.
We have many many enjoyable memories in our Beautiful Little Cabin. No matter where we are, or who we are with, we will always have these memories Our Home is made of 'Love and Dreams'. ( Look for clues in our cabin)
We have always been so thankful that we choose this property, and the Foothill of The Sierras..
We know that you will have a wonderful time enjoying the Sierras from our Cabin.
