Orleans House Rental Photos and Description
2 Bedroom, 2 Baths On Beautiful Wooded Lot
Charming location just across the road from Baker's Pond. The house is spacious, freshly painted with hardwood floors throughout and newly installed central air. The comforts of home include TV in Master bedroom and living room, cable and WI-FI, washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the extras you'd expect: microwave, blender, stick-free pans and of course, a lobster pot.
The location is ideal...a short 5-min walk to the tucked-away, sandy beach on Baker's Pond. You can swim, kayak, canoe or fish. This pond is stocked with trout and large-mouthed bass.
Explore the 'ancient ways'--back roads into Nickerson State Park. Great for a WALKING adventure. It's accessible about 2 blocks/10-min walk up the road. This hike is spectacularly beautiful in Fall. There are big waves at Nauset Beach, a 10-min drive, where you can swim, boogie board or just walk the long expanse of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay is only a 5-min drive away. The water is warmer and at low tide you can walk out for almost a mile. Rock Harbor(free parking) is just a little past Skaket Beach. Arrange a fishing trip on one of the many charter boats or just watch them bring in their catch. This is another good spot to walk out 'on the flats' at low tide. Really fun for kids. And don't miss the sunset on Cape Cod Bay-WOW!
This is a lovely house, always meant to be enjoyed, in the perfect Cape cod location, in any season.

About A Summer Place - Cape Cod
My parents, who loved the Cape, built this home in 1978 after my father retired from the Milwaukee Police Department. We have decided to keep the property in the family as a getaway place for us and to allow others to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod as well. We hope you enjoy your stay.
