About this property

Spacious Renovated Mid-Century Charmer - New

Farmhouse charm with a modern touch. This large sunny home was situated on a walnut farm when originally built by an Irish immigrant, who now lives next door. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the dense city or an adventure-packed getaway, you are sure to make memories here. Perfect for trips with family/friends and longer stays alike. Features a new pool table and wine barrel fire pit!

☀︎ 5 minutes from historic vibrant downtown Petaluma, 2 minutes from highway 101, and walking distance to many stores/restaurants, this location offers a rare experience of country living with city convenience ☀︎

INTERIOR:

The interior will drop your jaw like Cirque Du Soleil- A lot of thought went into the details to give the space a tangible ambiance! It struts hardwood floors, beautiful antique furniture/decor, original art, large windows, plenty of greenery, and Tiffany glass pendant lights. You’ll be greeted in the front by an 8 foot Olhausen pool table with new bumpers, balls, cues, and Simonis felt (the best in the biz) where you can decide to get as competitive as you want. The living room comes equipped with a 55 inch Roku Smart T.V set on guest mode and a ton of fun kid friendly games. High speed WiFi at 245 mbps ensures easy streaming and a smooth experience if you plan on working from the house.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook up anything (including waffles!). I’m a cook- I’ve got you covered. You can even choose between cast iron and non stick pans.

The bedrooms feature super comfortable Nectar mattresses on wood platform frames, and each bed has 4 pillows- 2 standard and 2 memory foam. The two bathrooms both feature new removable magnetix shower heads.

BACKYARD:

Newly hung string lights along with a wall of pink trumpet-vine enclose a spacious backyard including a wine barrel fire pit, 3 burner gas BBQ grill, wrought iron table, comfy outdoor furniture, and a corn hole set. Come back from your daytime adventures to share a laugh and some local wine by the warmth of the wine barrel fire pit. You’ve got plenty of options here- grill out, game/movie night, corn hole match, stories by the fire, doubles pool tournament, etc.

***No Parties!*** Please respect the neighbors.

PARKING:

Parking: You will have access to 2 parking spaces out front and one in the back left side of the driveway. Very easy and convenient. If you need more, there is ample street parking in this neighborhood, unlike much of Petaluma's west side.

ACTIVITIES:

Golf, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, hot springs, horseback riding, wine tasting, or simply decompressing at a host of famous microbreweries and biergartens in town.

♥ Beach day? Drive west about 30 minutes on Petaluma Point Reyes Road through the rolling hills and valleys to Tomales Bay, Marshall, Pt. Reyes Station, Inverness and the National Seashore. Or try Dillon Beach/Bodega Bay!

♥ Wine tasting? Head north 30 minutes to Healdsburg (Dry Creek and Alexander Valley), or 45 minutes east to Napa Valley.

♥ San Francisco? Head south on 101 for a little less than an hour. Come north again either before 3pm or after 6pm to miss traffic!

♥ Biking? Sonoma county is home to some excellent routes. Try Chileno Valley Road.

♥ Don’t miss out on the excellent restaurants and breweries surrounding you. I have recs for East Petaluma and downtown! Send me a message with any Qs!

Great Petaluma neighborhood house
Such a great location and Justin was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Pool table a great bonus! Bed we slept in was comfortable. Rained a lot during our stay otherwise we would have definitely used the backyard. Petaluma is a great place to stay if you want to be central to a ton of great Sonoma county activities and the Bay Area. Will stay here again if we come back to the area.

Can't recommend more!
We loved it! Perfect location, stylish and spacious, responsive host. Cool artwork. Very comfortable beds I might add. The only downside is now my kids want a pool table at our own house and my wife wants me to add string lights to our backyard!

Wonderful home
We came to Petaluma for a small family gathering and really enjoyed this house! It was extremely clean, and had a lot of nice amenities including the Roku TV, bbq, pool table, and even a waffle maker that we used! Backyard is very nice with a wooden slatted deck. Comfortable beds and sharp decorations. Classy stay overall. Justin was very responsive and sent detailed directions which were helpful. Hopefully we can come back soon.

Beautiful Home
Super sweet house! This was the perfect spot for us staying in Petaluma- it’s right next to downtown and close to many shops, restaurants, and convenience stores. I’m obsessed with the interior design- the artwork and the Tiffany pendant lights are gorgeous. And the tree in the living room! We loved playing doubles billiards and my husband who plays frequently was really impressed with the quality of the sticks/ table. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked, beds are extremely comfy, everything just feels elegant and upscale. Communication/check in was smooth and we felt really well taken care of. Thank you so much Justin!
