Disappointing and dirty

My family and I came to this condo. over our childrens break. You can imagine our disappointment when we walked into the condo. to find that it didn't look like the pictures! The condo. was very dirty! All 3 of my children have terrible allergies. It looked like the place hadn't been dusted in months! There was dust all over the bedroom with twin beds but it was worse in the master. The bed frame pulled away from the mattress exposing the dirt behind. The nightstand and lamp were filthy. Behind the nightstand had dirt and bugs. The worst part of the master bedroom was the blood stain on the comforter. The master bath was in bad shape. The grout has pulled away from the wall and tub. We watched the little gray bugs go in and out of the wall each day. To make matters worse, the tgrout and shower curtain were full of mold! Moving into the kitchen was where I was really disappointed. The ants were all over the counters and in the refrigerator. The refrigerator had duct tape holding the top part together. The dishwasher worked, however, every time you open it, it would fall out toward you. We found a cockroach on the lanai. The only good thing about the condo. was the view. It was spectacular but not enough to merit coming back to a filthy condo!
Owner's Response: We have our property professionally managed and cleaned after each guest. Imagine our surprise when we read this review! We immediately called our property manager. They had not received one complaint from this customer. They went to inspect the unit right away and did not find (and sent us photos of the areas)most of the problems that these guests reported. We corresponded with these guests via email to ask them why they would not bother to call the property manager right away if there was a problem? They responded that they didn't want to "ruin" their vacation. They preferred to complain in retrospect about issues?
There was duct tape on the refrigerator and we had it fixed immediately. Also, it was found that the dishwasher had become loose and that was also repaired. We have the unit sprayed for pests 4 times a year. A beach condo will get pests. We authorize additional pest removal if a customer needs it. We also replace the shower curtain liners 4 times a year.
We take the cleanliness of our unit seriously and we spent a lot to keep it clean and functional. We have professional managers who are available on island,to respond to any problems that a customer may have during their stay.
