Lake Waccamaw, peaceful, relaxing, best night's sleep I've ever had! Relax on the covered, screened-in front porch while grilling your favorite food and watching the scenery. Watch people and their children riding their bicycles or walking and jogging down the quiet paved road to the dam on the lake. Grab a fishing pole and head over to the pier across the street. Myrtle Beach and Wilmington are only about an hour's drive for more shopping and entertainment and beaches. Whiteville is 12 miles for local shopping and Lake Waccamaw also has grocery, gas, food.

We love to fish the Lake for bass and perch!

We love staying at the Lake. We can put our boat in to fish in the early morning, tie up to the dock, make a sandwich in the kitchen, take a nap. Then decide what to do during the afternoon, before heading back out to fish in the evening and watch the moon come up!
Carol and her girlfriends spent a three-day weekend at the house and went swimming from the pier. Joanne purchased those fun, silly, animal visors for us all to wear in the water! After a day on the water, we watch chick flicks and grilled on the front porch and had a great time!
5/27-30/2011. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your house this weekend. The house was impeccable . . . just spotless, which is wonderful for a baby learning to crawl. Everywhere I turned, you had foreseen a need. e.g. laundry detergent, coffee/filters/Splenda. Thank you so much for opening your home to us.
