Gracious 19th century farmhouse in a rural location, very near the coast. The house is set in 100 acres of farm land and is within 3 miles of the JFK Arboretum and the the Kennedy homestead. Local places to visit are: Hook Head, oldest lighthouse in Europe ; Waterford City, home to Waterford Glass and venue for the Tall Ships; Wexford Town, famous for it's opera festival.

This house is just fabulous ! We stayed in Hill House for a family wedding nearby. There's plenty of space for a gathering - lovely bathrooms, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and the garden is safely away from the road and beautifully kept. Most of us ( 3 couples plus 4 children ) stayed for three days, so had time to relax and explore the area. A lovely part of the country, and very friendly and unspoiled. Lots to see and do, so we'll be back again soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
