A Beautiful Log Home situated in the perfect location to do almost any outdoor recreation activity you can think of! You can choose to relax and enjoy what the home has to offer from a stocked fish pond to a covered deck with distant views of the Tetons. Or travel to all of the very close attractions like Yellowstone National Park, the Grande Tetons, the St. Anthony Sand Dunes, BYU-Idaho and so much more! There are too many adventures to list here, just let the owner know what your interests are and she will point you in the right direction. The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils & cooking supplies. All you need is your camera, a smile, and a map.

About Meghan

I work in the Agronomy business and consult with ranchers & farmers on products they need to produce better crops & forages. I am ranch girl and love spending time on my families ranch taking care of my livestock. I enjoy horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and almost anything the outdoors has to offer. I have two dogs, two horses, a barn cat, and a small herd of cows. I love to hear good stories and can share some local anecdotes!

Why Meghan chose Ashton

I love my home and it has been my primary residence for the last 8 years. I have discovered that I enjoy spending more time at the ranch and traveling than I do spending it at home. I want to share this wonderful home with others and want to show that Idaho is the hidden gem of vacation places. I love the closeness to the mountains, the sand dunes, premier fly fishing, the summer & fall weather, and all the outdoors activities that are offered here. I rent the top two levels of the home. The basement is still occupied at various times by either a property manager or myself.

What makes this cabin unique

I love taking day trips to Yellowstone or Jackson Hole. Horseback riding and 4-wheeling in the dunes is always a good time. Fishing or using the paddle boat in the pond. In the summer there is nothing like sitting on the deck in the morning drinking a warm cup of tea and watching the sun rise over the Tetons.

A great place for a family gathering!

It was a joy to stay in this clean and well-maintained St. Anthony home. We especially enjoyed the beautiful deck, hammock, and small pond with a paddle boat. The location proved to be perfect for our family reunion. The owner and property manager were very helpful. I recommend this property to others.

Dunes Base

This cabin was the perfect home base for our riding trip to the St. Anthony dunes. We found the cabin clean and exactly as described in the pictures and write ups. The kitchen had plenty of space for meal prep, and the deck and outdoor fire pit were perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. All 6 adults in our group had their own bed, and no one felt cramped for space. Meghan was a wonderful hostess, and has done a great job of maintaining this beautiful property. We will definitely be back!

Home Away From Home

This cabin was awesome! The owner had a fire already going so it was warm when arrived late in the evening. As we walked in, we immediately felt comfortable and at home. All the details were exactly as described. The photo's were completely accurate, the cabin was more spacious than the photos portrayed. Cabin was completely clean and excellently maintained. The owner was amazing and made herself available for questions, checking in with us throughout our stay, but never imposing. I would absolutely reccommend this to a friend and in fact already have. Thank you for such a beautiful property, consistant with it's description, that welcomed us and made us feel like home.

Thanksgiving in St Anthony

We had our family of 9 plus a couple of extra BYU-I students for Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room for all of us (even with more than one cook in the kitchen!) The cabin was very nice, cozy & warm and well maintained. We are familiar with the area, so did some exploring in Island Park, went to West Yellowstone, and also into Shelley to do some antique shopping. Didn't make a visit to the Sand Dunes, but not really the right time of year or we'd have done that too. The horses were great, nice to be around (and the cows too, our dog seemed to like visiting with them).Meghan's property was everything we could ask for, working with her on making our reservations was easy and we would definitely recommend her place to anyone!

Wonderful, homey cabin. Great location, beautiful scenery. We even caught some fish in the pond! Meghan is very accomodating and we would stay here again, for sure.
