I work in the Agronomy business and consult with ranchers & farmers on products they need to produce better crops & forages. I am ranch girl and love spending time on my families ranch taking care of my livestock. I enjoy horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and almost anything the outdoors has to offer. I have two dogs, two horses, a barn cat, and a small herd of cows. I love to hear good stories and can share some local anecdotes!
Meghan purchased this cabin in 2005
I love my home and it has been my primary residence for the last 8 years. I have discovered that I enjoy spending more time at the ranch and traveling than I do spending it at home. I want to share this wonderful home with others and want to show that Idaho is the hidden gem of vacation places. I love the closeness to the mountains, the sand dunes, premier fly fishing, the summer & fall weather, and all the outdoors activities that are offered here. I rent the top two levels of the home. The basement is still occupied at various times by either a property manager or myself.
I love taking day trips to Yellowstone or Jackson Hole. Horseback riding and 4-wheeling in the dunes is always a good time. Fishing or using the paddle boat in the pond. In the summer there is nothing like sitting on the deck in the morning drinking a warm cup of tea and watching the sun rise over the Tetons.
From the moment we pulled up we sensed what a nice place this would be for our family to enjoy. Upon entering I heard, "Good job Dad, this is a winner". We had a great stay for our family here including grandkids. It has a cabin style feel with all the comforts of home. The property manager checked to see that we had what we needed. We really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this property.
This cabin is fully loaded from blankets and pillows to fish and spices. It was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The property manager was close by to answer any questions or deal with any issues We had a great time and it was easy for us to get to the St. Anthony sand dunes for the days we wanted to cruise the dunes!! I cant wait to come back next year and will recommend this beautiful property to all my friends!
A group of guys and gals headed from Colorado to St. Anthony at the beginning of June for some dune riding. We were VERY please upon pulling in to the drive at the home. The ladies felt like they were at home with all the amenities and the ability to clean up after every ride. Any issues we had were addressed promptly and without hesitation. This is an outstanding place to stay. If you're in St. Ant and are looking for a great deal on awesome lodging, this is the place for you!! We'll be booking again for next year!! Thank you!!!
What a beautiful home. My niece and nephew loves the pond. They watched some of the fish while out in the paddle boat. It felt like home.
Our time at St Anthony was very enjoyable while staying at this cabin. We loved the room for our family of 9. We had three young children, 2 teens and 4 adults. This cabin was spacious and accommodating for all of us. The pond was a big plus and added hours of fun for the family...river is just a few minutes for more fishing as well. Would recommend a trip to the dunes if you have not checked it out. There are the lakes where you will pay a day-pass fee but we saw an area where there was free access after we left. Dunes are fun to do and only a few minutes from house. Patio/porch was wonderful and we spent a great deal of time out there. The manager for the property was accessible as needed but not intrusive in any way. I would highly recommend for family reunions.
Only downside is all bedrooms are upstairs so they are not easily accessible for those with special needs.
This was our second time staying at the cabin, and everything was great once again. The cabin was clean and well stocked with spices and condiments for cooking. Jaimie, the property manager, checked in with us shortly after our arrival to ensure that we had everything we needed. The cabin served as the perfect home base for our motorcycle trip into the St Anthony sand dunes. We will definitely be back!
