Stay on the Beach Across from John's Pass. Fantastic Location!
This modern and beautifully kept resort is located directly on the beach, and just across the street from Johns Pass Village. Walk along the sand and under the draw-bridge and enjoy all that the Village has to offer, with great restaurants, shops, all the water-sports activities, and lots to see and do. The beach in front of the resort is the softest and cleanest in the area, and the warm Gulf waters are calm and safe, and simply wonderful!
Relax in the beachfront pool area or at the beautifully landscaped patio. There's plenty of lounge chairs available for enjoying the warm Florida sun, or relax or dine with friends at one of the several beachside patio dining tables under a palm-lined cabana.
The condo has been completely redone, top to bottom. All new decor in 2013 including new paint, tile throughout, granite-topped bathrooms and kitchen, and all new furniture and bedding. This unit is perfect and ready-to-go for your family vacation.
The master bedroom boasts two new and very comfortable queen-size beds, and has it own private bath with walk-in shower. The large closet gives plenty of room for storage, and the room is equipped with a new flat-screen TV. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin size beds, and also is equipped with a new flat-screen TV and cable. In the living room, you'll find a queen size pull-out sofa for any extra guests, along with a spacious eating area and of course, the large walk-out balcony. For entertainment, there's a large-screen TV with DVD and cable, and free high-speed WiFi Internet. Washer and dryer facilities are centrally located on the floor close to the condo.
The large covered, and well furnished balcony gives a nice view of the John's Pass draw-bridge, and creates a peaceful and comfortable spot to enjoy your morning coffee or your evening tea.
Great Condo, lots of space. Only wish there was a telephone so we could have called places about excursions we wanted to do instead of driving there and finding out they were cancelled that day. That was the only downfall.
Loved that John's Pass was right there for any needs (sunscreen and aloe after we burned lol) as well as ice cream and dinner/lunch options.
The dolphins play in the bay beside John's Pass - they were there every night for us except for 1 night. The day we left we were on the beach and the water was very calm and we saw 2 beluga whales and a bunch of dolphins right off the beach.
Thank you for a wonderful home away from home during this past spring break. The condo is lovely, spacious, clean, and in a great location to John's Pass. The beds are comfortable, and extra bedding was provided. This condo like others I've stayed at, claim to have everything you will need... well this time they actually did! Including pitchers, a blender, beach chairs, beach towels, broom to sweep away the sand, and more! The staff including the maintenance man (Ryan?) and cleaning crew were very nice and welcoming. We did have a slight issue with the elevator being so slow, but if you have patience it will be fine. The only thing I would suggest to future guests, is wear your shoes/slippers in the house. The floors turn your feet black, even after cleaning.
We recently stayed here with our college girls home for spring break. The condo is very nice and has plenty of room for 6 people (as long as you don't mind bunking in the same bed in the master). The master bedroom is very large with a beautifully updated bath. It also has a huge closet to store all your luggage. The living room and kitchen are very plopen with enty of counter space. We had an extra car and we found out that you have to have a visitor's tag. We couldn't find one in the condo so we went to the office and they gave us one. We were worried that there wouldn't be spots available throughout the week, but there were always plenty. The beach and pool are literally steps away. The beach was never crowded since it seemed that only our condo people were on it (this was also college spring break time). The pool was small but nice and clean with a bathroom so guests don't have to go all the way up stairs. John's Pass is right behind the condo. It was so easy to cross the main road. We had college girls and they loved going there every night for some shopping and ice cream. We also took advantage of jet skiing and a dolphin cruise which you can do right in john's pass. This condo is really in an ideal location. The only negative is that it faces the draw bridge so you can really hear the cars and especially the constant motorcycles going up the bridge. We just kept the sliders closed. The condo next door was also having a stone grill removed one early morning and then having concrete poured the next morning. It was very loud and annoying so early in the morning but that will probably never happen again. Otherwise, we highly recommend this condo. We definitely want to stay there again next year.
The condo itself is lovely. I have a few suggestions though. First and foremost, the floors (inside and patio) should be cleaned. When walking on the floors barefoot your feet will be BLACK. Very disgusting. I ended up having to wear shoes all the time. I would have preferred to have the option of going barefoot at a beach location. Additionally, the only other thing that I would suggest is additional toilet tissue. 2 small rolls does not always last a week. Why not have more under the counter? All in all it was a pleasurable stay and would be interested in coming back. I have specific comments regarding the property that I will post on their website which are not applicable to the condo specific.
We recently spent several days in Florida at Sandy Shores. Information related to accessing the condo was provided in a timely manner with great detail. From a numbered parking spot to key codes to access the unit, everything was efficiently provided. The condo was in excellent condition and well stocked with supplies for our stay. The kitchen had a wonderful supply of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. There were plenty of towels, both bath and beach towels. Beach chairs and toys for the kids were also provided. Great pool area and easy access to the beach. I would definitely recommend this condo.
My family of 7 fit very comfortably in this condo. It was beautifully decorated and clean. The deck was perfect to hear the ocean and relax with morning coffee. My only suggestion is to put rugs down. The floors are tile throughout and it was very scarey and unsafe to walk on for my one year old wobbler. We had to put towels down throughout.
