My Little Blue House is a joy - nestled in the woods. A pair of Phoebes had built a nest on the porch and we watched them feed their babies, heard pileated woodpeckers and cicadas in the distance, and were delighted by the sound of the small stream running through the property. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the entire house is perfect for a wonderful rest.
We loved our week at the little blue house. Relaxing, beautiful and comfortable. We went on some amazing hikes with our teenagers on the gorgeous trails right around the cabin. Enjoyed making smores at the fire outside. The cabin is surrounded by a beautiful forest. Feels magical. Thank you Karin! You are the best hostess EVER!
We stayed in the Little Blue House for 5 days recently as we travelled the area soaking in the beautiful mountains and fall color. The house is equipped with everything you need - and more- to enjoy your stay!! We loved sitting on the porch, enjoying the view and listening to the creeks. The property is private and secluded (which we love) but is within minutes of town. The owner was very easy to work with and takes great care and pride in the Little Blue House. We hope to visit again!
I spent 10 lovely days in the Little Blue House as a writer's retreat. The house is clean and had everything I could possibly need. I LOVED being able to sit out on the beautiful front porch and work and the setting was peaceful and beautiful. Hoping to make this a yearly event!
I loved this house. It was fully stocked and everything was as described. My kids enjoyed the creeks! My Autistic Son loved the creeks the best as well as the front porch. My daughter loved the fact that she could bring her dog. Our dog liked it here very much. The owner Karin was very prompt on returning my emails and she even allowed us to add a day without a lot of headache. The place was very clean with plenty of towels and wash rags. The only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer!! Also this place is close to a lot of fun things no matter what you like to do:)
Absolutely Perfect stay.Perfect out of way location makes it a perfect place to temporarily disconnect from outside world.
Hi, we spoke on April 24. I so much appreciated your call during your own vacation. Am wondering if you had a chance to post any photos of the creek & outside of the house. I was also wanting the names of a couple of the closest places to rent boats on Lake Chatuge. Thank you so much!
