There is a full bath upstairs and a full bath downstairs. The kitchen is large with ample room for dining, if the weather does not permit dinner on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a refrigerator, range, microwave, disposal, and dishwasher The living room is comfortable for gathering to watch videos, do puzzles and play games, or just enjoy looking out over the water. There is a clean, full basement with a washer and drier.
Neighboring cottages extend along the shore to the south, but there is only woods and beach for a couple of thousand feet to the north, offering lovely, unrestricted views across the bay. You can't help but relax and feel refreshed when enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds you in this special spot.
This cottage is well located for exploring Leelanau County, golfing, biking, touring the vineyards, swimming, and shopping. Northport is a quick five minutes away with a good grocery, bakery, lunch spots, and a large, wonderful harbor and beachside playground. The picturesque village of Leland, with historic Fishtown, shopping, restaurants and large sandy beaches, is a fifteen minute drive. Glen Arbor, in the middle of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park, is forty-five minutes. Ten minutes south of the cottage is Suttons Bay with more shopping, restaurants, and a movie theater. Twenty minutes beyond is Traverse City. There is always something for everyone to do, and the drive to any activity is guaranteed to be breathtaking.
