From the moment you set foot in this 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1300 square foot Condominium, you will be immersed in the “Aloha Spirit”. This corner unit at Waikoloa Greens truly has a beautiful layout. This condo has many upgrades including Brazilian Cherry wood laminate flooring in all of the bedrooms and throughout the upstairs. The living room is laminate flooring as well. Tile flooring appoints the baths and kitchen. Beautiful granite kitchen counters and stainless steel appliances. Many more upgrades as well.
Each Bedroom has it’s own bath, ceiling fan and sliding glass door out to it’s own lanai. The kitchen and living room (with bay window and ceiling fan) and master bedroom have stunning views of the ocean, Hualalai Mountain and beautiful tropical sunsets. It is decorated throughout with Hawaiian furnishings, rattan furniture and Hawaiian photos. The living room is appointed with a tv, surround sound, stereo and cd player. Wireless Internet and cable tv are also provided . There are also tvs in both the master bedroom and the queen bedroom.
The condo is well equipped with washer/dryer, beach towels, cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. The beautifully remodeled kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with dishes, microwave, toaster oven, blender, cooking utensils and everything you will need to prepare meals if you so choose on your vacation.
There is a king bed in the master, a queen in the second bedroom and a twin trundle bed, that makes into a king in the third bedroom which doubles as an office/den.
There are abundant bbqs on site and a very nice heated pool and hot tub that were just redone. Tennis courts, play ground facilites and exercise facility 100’ away. There is also another pool, tennis courts and more for your use nearby.
Location, Location, Location:
Overlooking the Kohala Coast, Waikoloa Village is in a perfect location from which to launch your exploration of the Big Island. We are fortunate to experience some of the best weather on the island. Rarely do we experience the vog that sometimes plagues other parts of the island. The weather is in the 80's Fahrenheit year round during the day, and around 70 Fahrenheit at night, which makes it warm during the day and cool enough at night to sleep. Restaurants, sightseeing and shopping:
You are located a short stroll from the Waikoloa Village featuring a large grocery store complete with fresh butcher, deli and bakery, a bank, health food store, restaurants, bars and other shops for your convenience.
Banji's Bar and Grill is a short drive with great food and a generous happy hour.
There are over 20 other restaurants located in the Waikoloa Beach area including Tommy Bahamas, Ruth Chris, Roy’s, The Tropics Ale House, the Sansai Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar and many more. The Dolphin Quest at the Hilton Waikoloa Beach area is also about 10 minutes away with it's restaurants and shopping.
You can experience world class shopping at the King and Queens shops of Waikoloa. 15-20 minutes North of Waikoloa is a town called Waimea, or Kamuela, which is home to world famous restaurants, such as Merriman's and Daniel Thiebauts, as well as being home to the famous Parker Ranch Paniolos (Hawaiian Cowboys).
Kona town is a 30 minute drive to the South, where you will find the Kona Brewery, The Kona Inn, Huggos by the Sea and many other fine restaurants and plenty of shops. Costco is located between Kona and the airport.
You are also just a short drive to catch Saddle Road which will take you to the Hilo side where you can check out Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, Waipi’o Valley and many other sights and waterfalls along the Hamakua Coast. You are also a 2 hour scenic drive from the Mauna Kea Summit and observatories, or the same distance from Kilauea, Hawaii’s live volcano.
Waikoloa Village Golf Course is your backyard. It is a par 72. It plays to 6,791 yards and is situated at the 1,000 ft elevation overlooking the beautiful Kohala Coast. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and as our guest you will receive discounted green fees. Many other exceptional courses await you nearby.
There are many places to snorkel including 69s Beach or any of the access points along Puako Road which is a short drive away. Mauna Lani, A- Bay, Mauna Kea, are also some excellent choices. If you don't mind the drive, there is outstanding snorkeling at Kahaluu Bay, which is 7 miles south of Kona. (about a 35 minute drive) Here you will see large numbers of very friendly, colorful fish, and lots of Green Sea Turtles. (you don’t even have to get into the water to see the turtles, just look in the tide pools and on the rocks) If you want the very best, either Kayak or take a snorkel cruise to Kealakekua Bay (Captain Cook’s Monument). It is the very best snorkeling I have experienced in the Islands with over 100 feet of visibility. Honaunau Bay (Place of Refuge) is also nearby.

We have been traveling to Hawaii for many Years. It truly was love at first sight. We live in Washington State, so for us it is all about the glorious warm weather and beautiful azure water that is the perfect temperature year round

I have literally been wanting to buy something in Hawaii from our first trip,but never quite found the right place until 2011. From the moment I set foot in this unit, I knew it was the right one. It is bright and sunny from literally sun up until sunset, and you get to enjoy both from any of the four lanais. It is located in Waikoloa which is known for its tradewinds that keep it a comfortable temperature night or day, year round. It is completely furnished in Hawaiin furnishings to immerse you in the Aloha Spirit from the time you enter until the time you leave.
To put the weather in perspective, when they build here in Waikoloa Village, they have no need for a heating system, most do not have any need for air conditioning and they do not use insulation. Now this is where God intended us to live! We love to bbq and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our condo. From that first sip of Kona coffee enjoying the glorious morning sunshine on one of the East Lanais, to the last rays of golden sun setting on the vast Pacific Ocean while enjoying your pauhana drink on one of the West Lanais, you will know why we love it here so much. Snorkeling, swimming, golf, shopping, sightseeing , or just being a beach bum are just a few of things to do, all nearby, while staying at our condo.
We enjoyed our stay at your condo so much! It felt like home instantly. It was amazing to awake every morning to the variety of bird calls and songs. The view was amazing and our stay was peaceful, adventurous and breathtaking. Thank you for supplying us with everything we could possibly need to enjoy our time on the Big Island.
Unit was exactly as advertised. Made for a fantastic Christmas vacation. Shared the unit with my parents and two kids (11 and 8) and felt we had the space to enjoy. Unit was a little warm upon entry, but quickly cooled down thanks to tradewinds and ceiling fans -- I'm an "air conditioning" guy, and I didn't miss it. Nice selection of beach stuff -- the chairs and boogie boards have seen better days, but were much preferred to bringing or renting! In-unit laundry enabled us to pack light. Nice floors compared to other units (we stayed at Paniolo before on a time share exchange). Great views for the sunset -- enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail before heading out for a meal or grilling on the Weber just outside the unit door. Not on a beach, but easy to get to several by car -- allowed us to sample several beaches rather than sticking with just one. Not "resort fancy", but really comfortable and well-maintained -- it felt like home within hours. Gary was a great communicator and gave us thorough directions and leaves frequent little notes around the unit to help us navigate. Recommended as a nice home base at good value for those who want to explore the island.
Accommodations were excellent barring there was no A/C and it was extremely muggy and minimal breeze just prior to Hurricane Ana. We really liked the location, appliances were in good shape, all kinds of beach toys / coolers / towels available in unit to use. Enjoyed the outstanding sunsets from the lanai's! Beds were comfy and clean. Would stay again, but likely not in hurricane season.
We had five (two adults and three teens) there for a week and thought it was tremendous. Gary was very accurate in his description, so there were no surprises. The staff at the complex were extremely nice and helpful when we had questions. Nicely furnished, clean, and great views. Absolutely no problems!
We loved this home away from home. It is located close to a number of beaches but away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. The condo is spacious and well stocked in the kitchen. It is a short walk to the pool and hot tub which we visited nightly. The end unit makes for lots of windows and beautiful views. We woke up each morning to wild turkeys. There were lots of beach/pool gear: chairs, mats, kids toys, and bogey boards. Could use more beach towels (there were only 2).
We would stay here again! Great vacation.
This condo was great! We spent the first half of our vacation here exploring the West and North side of the island. Waking up to the panoramic view every morning was amazing. Gary's condo descriptions and photos are very accurate. All was clean and we did not want for anything. Packing up our lunch, taking his beach gear and exploring the local beaches and snorkeling was a favorite thing to do. Spent time in Kona. Sea Quest snorkel trip and night Manta Ray snorkeling are highlights. Loved Lava Lava Beach Club, had a great night at Banjy's, and of course Huggo's on the Rocks in Kona is fun. Great base to explore. I would recommend this property to friends and we hope to return one day. Thanks Gary!
Tons of space, very well equipped and the pool area is really beautiful and very quiet. This is a great place to stay with a short drive to beaches, but a nice quiet relaxing neighborhood to go back to after a day in the sun and surf. The layout is very nice with 3 separate, private bed and bathrooms - this is a nice large condo to stay in, with great views of the sunset!
Very Near the largest cattle ranch in the world, the famous Parker Ranch. Hoseback riding and tours available daily.
