Casa Princesa Del Mar - The Most Private Luxury Beach Home in Troncones.
Nestled in the native tropical jungle just on the northern edge of the Troncones community (Playa Majahua - walking distance from Manzanillo Bay), this 1+ acre property boasts a 5,000 sqft. custom home designed and built by internationally renowned architect Enrique Zozaya. In order to maintain absolute privacy, the property is set back 80 yards from the beach, with only native jungle and a private walking path in between. Since all beaches are public in Mexico, anyone walking on the beach can see right into other people's oceanfront properties!
Our spectacular views are from the completely open second story (actually more than 3 stories high with all travertine floors). This is where you will find our 100% vanishing edge infinity pool, on the second story, in the living room! Our huge hang-out kitchen with island and granite countertops, dinning room, built in couch, hammock, and yoga/open terrace complete the second story. The top story is the incredibly private master bedroom suite (white marble flooring), with its own balcony and ocean view rain shower. Downstairs are two extra-large guest bedrooms; each one has a queen and a double bed, and a private bathroom with marble countertops. The guest rooms open to a enourmous covered patio.
Daily maid service and fresh breakfasts are included from our full-time caretaker Reyna. She spent years cooking and cleaning for one of the premier top-end hotels in Troncones before taking over at Casa Princesa Del Mar. She truly is the BEST COOK IN TOWN! You will never want to leave the table when she makes lobster, chile rellenos, fresh tortillas, fresh salsa, beans, rice, and many more local favorites!
And Reyna's husband is a local boat captain and can take you out fishing, surfing, snorkeling, whale and sea turtle watching for a much reduced price!
Fishing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and fresh local cuisine - everything you could want is also right within walking distance from this private luxury retreat, especially our nearly deserted sandy beach!

Kalon Morris purchased this house in 2004
We bought the land and had the house designed and built by world famous architect Enrique Zozaya. This is an amazing tropical resort community, totally safe and integrated with a wonder native population. The surfing, fishing, diving and food are world class!
Total privacy and relaxation, as well as several surf breaks, a fishing boat launch and amazing local food all within walking distance.
This was our first experience renting a property and it was not a disappointment . Our family had a wonderful time and we will want to do this again! The beach house was very spacious giving everyone room to be together as well as have their privacy. The bedrooms were all spacious, the open rain shower master bath took some getting used to but was wonderful. The second level provided an abundance of room for us to all get together, plan the next days activities or discuss the days adventure. It was great watching the sunset and just relaxing after the days activities (in and out of the infinity pool). There were novels and games, binders of info on the area, beach umbrella and boogie boards provided to help make your stay great!
We all like to fish, so it was great to be able to have the use of Kalon’s boat (price of gas and tip for Arturo). While fishing we had the opportunity to see whales, dolphin and loads of turtles as well as catch lots of barilettes, seirra mackerel, jack crevelle and a dorado. Our daughter took surf lessons (Mike Linn at Majahua), we went horse back riding, bogie boarding and enjoyed the beach. We even took in the fair that happened to be in town! It is about half a mile walk along the beach to Majahua (a little farther by the road). The Majahua Palms (resort/bar/restaurant) is about 600 yards to the other side of the beach house and has free Internet. The people at Majahua and the resort are all very friendly. Great restaurants at both places if you want to eat out. We had arranged for Reyna to prepare dinner the day of our arrival … WOW, a huge delicious lobster dinner (about 100 peso/person and cost of food)! As well as her breakfast every day, we had her make tortilla soup and ceviche for lunches, all excellent. Arturo cleaned the fish we caught and Reyna cooked it up another day.
Our stay was every thing we hoped for and more. We hated to leave!
