South Lake Tahoe is the premier destination on the California-Nevada border where one can expect great scenery and outstanding opportunities for outdoor recreation. With Heavenly Ski Resort, tons of breathtaking hiking trails, and of course, plenty of aquatic fun on Lake Tahoe, you’ll find that this is a fantastic getaway for any season.
If you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, you won’t be disappointed by this charming 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cabin in South Lake Tahoe. With 2 stories and enough room to comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests, this home is a great size for a family looking to experience the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains! During the warmer months, relax outside on the cabin’s deck or balcony, and grill some dinner on the propane grill located on the deck. All the amenities you need to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible are here, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and high speed internet with WiFi, so you can easily keep in touch with friends and family back home. You’ll stay entertained during your downtime watching your favorite movie on the cabin’s TV with Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and Pandora, Wii, Google Chromecast, or by enjoying the variety of board games and puzzles.
This cabin is in a great location to enjoy everything the area has to offer – If you’re here during the winter, head over to Heavenly, which is right in town, or Kirkwood, which is a bit farther away, but usually less crowded. Sierra at Tahoe is a favorite ski area for many people, and if you’re on a budget, head over to Homewood. During the summer, make sure to check out the many hiking trails! There’s even a somewhat strenuous hiking trail right behind the cabin that is very easy to get to. Other notable trails nearby include Pyramid Creek Trail, Eagle Falls Trailhead, and Vikingsholm. Check out nearby opportunities for swimming/beaches, kayaking, and great mountain biking, too!

It is very clean and bright. Close to the lake and many trails. My family enjoyed the staying and very likely to come back in the future.
Great place for a ski weekend with a family of five. The cabin looks a little shabby on the outside, but inside it has everything you need and then some. All the latest technology -- 3 TVs, Wii, fast internet -- nice kitchen appliances, very clean, comfortable... not too big but then if you're out skiing all day how much space do you really need? We had a great time and would definitely come again.
This stay was part of my honeymoon plan, and this cabinet truly provides an environment that is similar to "home". Good location, awesome cabinet (with a Wii free to play!), and cozy atmosphere.
We have stayed at this property a couple times. It is located in a great part of Tahoe and exquisitely furnished. It really feels like home. It makes a good basecamp for adventure or just a nice place to lounge in front of the fire. The owner is very accomodating and will work to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
If you are looking for an old rustic cabin rental in a quiet neighborhood then this is the place for you. Though the cabin is definitely not new or model looking, it does offer a very cozy and comfy accomodation for a family vacation. You'll find well-equiped kitchen, washer, dryer, fireplace, bed, heater... virtually everthing you need to have fun in Tahoe's winter. Our group consisted of 2 families, totalled 8 people (adults & kids) and we all love it. I in particular prefer Meyers than in-town locations because it is easier & faster to get to Highway 50 & 88 if you want to ski in Sierraattahoe and Kirkwood. Looking forward to coming back.
Highly recommend this rental home!
We recently stayed here for a getaway trip from work in the Bay Area. Besides the excellent customer service, the rooms of the home were very clean and well appointed. There were more than enough beds for each of us to crash in and while it was a bit cool outside, you'd never know from the more than adequate heater inside. We were walking distance from a breakfast spot and bar. The television/internet/wifi was a blessing because cellular coverage isn't the best in the area, just in case you have to get some work done. We took advantage of the wonderful proximity to hiking trails in the area. I have no complaints about the Meyers Vacation Rental in South Lake Tahoe. It was like heading to mom's house for the weekend...without mom being there. What's better than that?
