Guestbook comments from the owner
I recently stayed in this Old Town Carriage House for a week while considering Ft. Collins as a retirement location. This upscale accomodation is comfortable and relaxing-a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. This quiet location is just a few blocks away from Old Town (a stroll I enjoyed daily). Marion was cheerfully helpful in every way. On future visits, this lovely loft will be my choice. I highly recommend.

I migrated to Ft. Collins from Virginia in 1986 and quickly fell in love with the charm and uniqueness of Old Town Ft. Collins. I love the pedestrian lifestyle and the proximity to so many of the activies that I enjoy. I have been a nurse at the local hospital in Ft. Collins for many years and am able to commute by bike most days of the year.

Marion Toll purchased this studio in 1993

I love the beauty and history of Old Town Ft. Collins, as well as the ability to walk to the shops and restaurants.

This is a peaceful property filled with natural sunlight. It is an easy walk to my favorite coffee shop, grocery store and local library.

I think the title was very appropriate.

I stayed at this carriage house for 1 month. It was perfect for me, as I could walk, or ride the owners bike to yoga, downtown Fort Collins, the grocery store, church, and several good restaurants. The carriage house is in a safe & quiet area. I enjoyed staying in this cozy place.

This is a cozy, comfortable rental in old town Ft. Collins. Perfect for my wife and I as we visit our daughter and family living on Loomis Ave.
Very clean and well-maintained. The owner is very responsive to requests.
Great location for walking to old town shops and restaurants (try Lucille's).
We have stayed here a number of times and plan to return.

Relaxing stay, great access

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at the carriage house for a one-week vacation. The property was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had all the necessary tools for making basic meals and we were able to eat breakfasts and small meals in (although several great restaurants were nearby, which we also enjoyed). There was plenty of hot water, great water pressure, quality bed linens, and peace and quiet -- all you'd expect from a nice hotel, only better.

Marion the owner was available for questions and helpful. The Old Town neighborhood can't be beat. The nearby Poudre Trail and City Park were excellent places for running and walking. Many Old Town restaurants had great happy hours, which were great options for dinner. Although we had a car, it was convenient to get around on foot. We would definitely stay again upon returning to Fort Collins.

Very nice place to stay, short walks to Old Town.

The place was very nice, we loved our stay. The furnishing are all nice. No expense was spared it seemed when it was built. The full size fridge and kitchen are ideal for a lengthy stay. Laundry is also available for free which makes your vacation less stressful. Highly recommended and we plan to stay there again on our next trip to Fort Collins.

Charming, comfortable and convenient

  • 5 of 5
The Carriage House was a real treat. My teenage daughter and I were visiting Fort Collins for nearly a week and were so comfortable that you could relax as if in your own home. Charmingly decorated and very well maintained, this studio was the perfect spot for 2 people. We had a very busy agenda while in town and each night we looked forward to returning to our local retreat. The location is ideal no matter what you're there for - right in historic downtown, close to campus, and a quick ride to the interstate if you are taking longer day trips. Everything was super clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable with great bedding. Thoughtfully appointed too with delish fresh organic coffee, nice dishes, towels and blankets, and even a nice selection of DVD's if you really want to lie back and unwind after a long day of running around. We loved this place and would definitely return there much less give it a great recommendation.
