Beautifully located on the stunning Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal Waterway, this condo is only one block from the beach, and offers a tranquil getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist strip, which is only a short stroll away. The condo features a north facing 'french balcony' offering light and a gentle breeze to the living area. There is easy access via stairs or elevator to a dockside pool and lounging area.
The condo is located within walking distance of Beach Place in Fort Lauderdale, which offers a CVS Pharmacy, as well as an array of shops and restaurants. While the condo has it's own Nespresso machine (and a regular filter coffee maching) for your morning coffee, Starbucks is only 2 blocks away for your morning walk and Chai Tea Latte...
Galleria Mall is only a short drive or bus ride away, featuring stores such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Victoria's Secret, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn, GAP and many more...
The condo features one assigned parking space, as well as Air Conditioning, wifi and basic cable tv. Sheets and towels are provided, as well as all pots, pans and cooking utensils so you can prepare meals at home in the fully functional kitchen.
There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, as well as a double sofa bed in the living room which will comfortably sleep two. Upon request, a single airmattress can be provided, ideal for small children.
Please note: stays less than 14 nights will be charged a $60 cleaning fee, and all bookings are subject to 11% Florida tax.
Originally from Australia, with a Swedish husband, we have travelled the world, and have settled (for the moment) in beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach, where we have recently started our family. We live not far from this beautiful vacation rental and hope that you enjoy the area as much as we do! This property is superbly located, being only one block from the beach (0.1 miles or 180 meters), yet sitting right on the intracoastal waterway, allowing a serene place to sit and catch some afternoon and evening sun while being entertained by the constant boat traffic.
The tourist strip, shops and restaurants of Fort Lauderdale are only a short stroll away, and buses, trolleys and water taxi stops are all located very close to the condo, so a car is not a necessity when you stay here. However, an assigned parking space is included with the apartment, It is a slightly narrow space, but will comfortably fit all regular sized cars.
The children Also loved the Iguanas around the pool area.
We stayed for two weeks with our 7 months old baby. The apartment is in very good condition and equiped with most things you might need for your stay, the beach and in the kitchen. Erin got us a pack and play for our baby.
The house has a beautiful deck by the water, great for tanning and watching the sunset. The pool is heated.
2 min walk to the beach, and the beach is long and beautiful. We swam in the pool and in the ocean almost every day. There are lots of good restaurants in the area. Our favourite was Coconuts grill.

the place is clean, well located on the intracoastal and one street from the beach. I recommend this place big time.
Property was clean and quite and has a great view of the intercostal. Other than measuring cups and spoons, we had everything we needed to cook and eat. Even had a pack and play for our little baby. It's a short walk to the beach AND Starbucks!
Eine tolle, ausreichend große Wohnung. Wir waren zu dritt, also mit unserem Sohn und alles hat ganz wunderbar funktioniert.
Die Vermieterin war zuvorkommend - hat uns sogar noch ein Kinderbett besorgt und in die Wohnung gestellt.
Das Apartment war sauber, aufgeräumt und wirklich stilvoll eingerichtet. Ist zwar fast alles IKEA, aber dafür ist das Gesamtbild wirklich gelungen.
Die Anlage verfügt über einen großen Bootsanleger, auf dem man sich toll sonnen kann. Zum spielen für Kinder ist dieser Anleger aber eher ungeeignet.
Dafür ist der eingezäunte Pool aber wunderbar, um eine Erfrischung, auch mit den Kleinen zu erleben.
Fußläufig sind einige, ganz gut situierte Restaurants und der Strand ist in der Tat nur 5 Gehminuten von der Wohnung weg.
Etwas negativ ist der wirklich kleine Parkplatz aufgefallen. Wir hier mit einem etwas größeren Geländewagen (und die sind in den USA ja nicht selten) einparkt, muss das wirklich können...andernfalls wird das ein- und ausparken regelmäßig zur Qual.
Ebenfalls wäre ein richtiger Balkon herrlich gewessen aber man kann ja auch nicht alles haben :)
We really enjoyed our two weeks in that amazing condo. It was just perfect, nice and clean. We would always like to come back for an other stay in Fort Lauderdale!
