Bear Ridge Cabin sits on a ridge above Rawley Springs. There is direct access to the George Washington National Forest within a couple of minutes right out the door of the cabin. There are two rivers (one is small enough that you might cal it a stream) that are about a 5-10 minute walk from the cabin. They are both contain Native Trout and one of them is stocked with Trout as well. Dry River (never actually dries up) is one of the best Trout fishing rivers on the east coast.
There are two bedrooms, a large living room with a stone fireplace and one bathroom, plus an updated kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and a deck and screen porch.
There is a pull out bed in the living room and then another one one the screen porch. The one on the screen porch is older.
Pets are welcome but we do require a pet fee when pets stay at the cabin.
On clear nights, you can see thousands of stars overhead. It is a beautiful sight. Also during the spring and summer months, you can see humming birds everywhere. We place feeders off the front porch of the house and have personally seen upwards of 20 birds feeding on them at one time in the area.
Checking is 4:00 pm and checkout is 11 am.
Pets are welcome at all of our properties. If you or someone in your group is allergic to pets or anything else (detergent, air fresheners, etc), please let us know in advance so we can discuss this prior to your booking and then also prior to your arrival.

Katie & Steven Robert Jones
We moved from Texas for me (Steven) to complete my college degree and wound up starting a vacation rental business almost by accident. As of September 2013 we have 9 cabins ready to rent.
This cabin was very close to our cabins and also came with 8 acres of land that bordered the George Washington National Forest so it was a perfect fit with our other cabins.
This cabin feels very private and even has a natural spring fed pond on it complete with lots of tadpoles in Spring. Whippoorwills are very common in the Spring to early Summer months as are Hummingbirds. Also, there are 3 hiking trails within walking distance of the cabin and numerous others within a very short drive of the cabin.
