Boulder House Rental Photos and Description
3 bedroom, 2 bathroom quiet home with amazing views.
Our home is the perfect place for a quiet retreat. On 3 acres of land and surrounded by forest, you have privacy and nature surrounding you. The raised ceilings of the large open livingroom / kitchen / dinning area are surrounded with full length windows opening out onto the forest and eastern view of the plains 2000 feet below and you can see for hundreds of miles into the sunrise or stunning star gazing at night.
Each of the 3 bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, wooden floors and persian carpets with a closet and places for your things. The windows open to the forest and fresh mountain air. All three bedrooms are upstairs.
The bathrooms each have a basic tub and shower with the standard sink and toilet and windows to the forest and fresh air. One bathroom is upstairs and one is down stairs.
A wonderful addition of our home is the large treks deck which spans the entire eastern side of the house. It is spacious and of course has that amazing view. It is a great place to lay out on the two lounge chairs and have a drink or take an afternoon nap. It is also a perfect place to have an evening meal since the large sliding glass doors open right off the kitchen. We do have a small gas grill for grilling fish or burgers or veggies as well.
We have a large screen TV and hundreds of DVDs as well as wireless internet in the whole house and a land line home phone.
The laundry room has both a washer and a dryer and is located in the large open downstairs rec room which at the moment is carpeted and open to any activity you might enjoy. It also has a sliding glass door which opens to the eastern forest.

Ty Burhoe purchased this house in 2007
Why Ty Burhoe chose Boulder
I choose this propety back in 2007 completely based on the living room. It was funny, because on the day I came to see the house, it was actually a cloudy day and I didn't even see that it has a view. I simply loved to quiet and peaceful feeling in the house and the land, and that was worth buying it all by itself. It was after I bought it that I went up again on a sunny day and the view knocked me off my feet. Really stunning! So I suppose I got the best of both worlds and I hope you'll enjoy them as well.
What makes this house unique
I would say that the special aspect of this rental is the feeling of the main living / dinning space in conjunction with the eastern views. I have composed most of my music and recorded many of my albums in that living room and written many stories at the desk looking out the windows into the forest. I would say it is perfect for a retreat for a writer or musician or painter but just as perfect for someone wanting to rest and become inspired about possibilities in their lives.
The other unique aspect of this rental is its location. It is just outside Boulder so you can get into town for shopping or restaurants or movies, but actually be back to the wilderness home in just 20 min. And from our home, you can continue driving up the canyon to intersect the Peak to Peak highway which takes you to Nederland or Estes Park or even the near by legendary Gold Hill which is an intact and still lived in old west town from 1850. All original homes and also one of the best local restaurants in the area called the Gold Hill Inn (open from spring til fall).
