My husband and I fell in love with Teton Valley after good friends invited us to join them one year for a summer trip. It allows us to get out of life in the fast lane and spend time with family and friends. We relax and appreciate the amazing beauty of the mountains, the valley and time spent together. We have found so many wonderful friends and things to do and have many great memories with our family. Now our grandchildren are starting to come too, and that's the best!
Debbie Gebhard purchased this house in 1985
It is close to so many things to do. We have to come back again and again to enjoy them all. No matter what the season, we can't get enough of nature and the great outdoors!
Dear Bret and family,
We are so very glad that you all had such a wonderful time and were able to take advantage of everything from relaxing to Jackson Hole and in between! We are most happy to hear your in-laws too enjoyed it on their very first visit to the area. We hope you'll come back again real soon, summer or winter, to discover even more wonderful things to do here in Teton Valley. Hope we still have turkeys walking around and they didn't end up on your dinner plates!
This house was absolutely amazing!! Our family of 15 takes a trip every year & this was a dream vacation spot for us. After 4 years of planning, luckily, this was our year & we did it! This home was everything & more! I know there are lots of things to go see in the surrounding area, but definitely spend some of your days just around the home. We enjoyed fishing, swinging on the tire swing, roaming around the property, playing air hockey, playing pool (we had some major pool tournaments), watching movies, dancing to some good music and spending many hours on the porch. It was also cool to see the moose & deer come down to the pond most evenings. The house also has amazing mounted wildlife all throughout the home, which totally adds to your vacation experience. Big bear and moose fill the rooms!!! This home is convenient to Jackson Hole and about 1 1/2 hours to the gates of Yellowstone. Our family still talks about this vacation home and the countless memories we made. We spent many hours laughing & enjoying each other while sitting on the back porch. I truly hope we get to stay here again. The owners are over the top nice in order to ensure your trip is a great experience. Our group ranged from 4 - 68 years of age. There was something for everyone here.
This property is absolutely amazingly beautiful; the down side is it is near Yellowstone & Teton National Parks so you feel "compelled" to leave to see the sites when just staying put is the ideal!!! Would love to have a second week to just enjoy the immediate surrounding area and the grounds of this beautiful home. Debbie and staff go above and beyond to make the home welcoming and comfortable and outfitted with everything anyone could possibly need. A member of our party became ill during our visit so I also have to give a shout-out to the staff at Teton Valley Hospital in Driggs as well; great care by an awesome staff! Really can't say enough about the home, the owners and the area; would return in a heartbeat! Thank you for the great time had by all!
What a great place to stay. Plenty of room for multiple friends and family. The setting is unbeatable, even in the middle of Winter. Great place to snowshoe and cross country ski. Property is very well taken care of. We could not have been happier.
Thank you! We had such a great time at your home. The skiing was great, the weather was fine and the home was incredible.
I would love to hear about the hunts of each of the animals that are on display. Dick must be an incredible hunter with a bow! We had a great time talking about them and looking at the pictures. Trying to put together each of the stories. The Polar Bear and the dog sled… wow.....gave us all the goose bumps. Dick should write a book about all of his hunts. Anyone staying in your home would love to hear them.
Everything went great. The house was warm and cozy. Nobody complained either way on the temp. The driveway was a bit crazy to get out Sat morning because it rained most of the night. By the time we got back from skiing and dinner it had been plowed. Melissa was great. She came by a couple times and was willing to answer all of our questions. We got to see your local Turkey Flock each day. Awesome display of nature! The boys went out Sunday and played in the snow all day, building things. They had a great time. Monday we hit Targhee with 8” of fresh powder and a bluebird day. What a trip.
We are very interested in staying in your home next year again, everyone just loved the home.
Thank you again from all of us, for opening your home to us and allowing us to have a ski vacation that we will all remember for a lifetime.
The property is easily accessible, but tucked away so it feels remote. Home is spacious yet cozy and is gorgeously appointed with a true western feel. Full kitchen is well stocked. Stargazing from the hot tub is a must.
This was the best, even better then imagined family Christmas... we had it all, peace, sledding, snow snowmobiling up in the Big Holes (that was arranged by the Manager of the Ranch), Beauty by nature right out the back window, turkey's trotting by in the am's deer licking salt across the pond, just a treat by Mother Nature ...City lights of Jackson Hole close by for a flavor of city, can't wait to come back!! The quaint town of Victor, 1 mile away has a lot to offer with Wild Life Pizza, the Burger Station, Festive Living, and the ever popular Emporium for Huckleberry shakes. We had guests from Virginia who were just stunned by the beauty and the endless opportunities of activities available either right out the front door, close to the property, and or within the city limits of Victor, Driggs, or Jackson Hole. It was hard to leave, but we will be coming back!
The cabin itself is set up for families with children, or just adults. There is a great pool table, game room, hot tub, and steam shower, nothing was missing. There is a bunk room that sleeps the young adults, up to six, and the entire place is just as cozy and inviting as can be. There is a perfect room for everyone, with snowscape views from every one of the bedrooms on the main and upper story floors, all of our guests were able to have a room that fit their needs, some want to be in the swim of activity, some prefer isolated rooms. I also heard from all of my guests( and my ownself!) that this must be built on ceremonial Indian grounds, as everyone commented on the soundest sleep ever, every single night, with the exception of the last night before leaving when we were all sad to leave, but grateful for the experience!!
Everything was spot on clean, and the care taker of the Ranch introduced herself, and checked on us several times to see if we had any needs or concerns, Milissa was just a delight and it was very reassuring to have someone who knows the property and the local highlights, she referred us to a great restaurant we all loved.
Five star guest service between Travis and Milissa, which of course comes trickle down from owner's that obviously really care, and take care of this stunning property.
