Another great time in your cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Second year in a row at your cabin, everyone had a good time, with great fishing on Thunder Lake. The place was clean and cozy. We would love to try it during warmer weather. See you soon I am sure. Thanks again guys.

Loved Our Getaway and Cabin in the Woods!!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It was nice, cozy, and clean. Very accommodating, and very easy process of reserving and check in/check out. I would very much recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice U.P. getaway! The cabin was nicely tucked back in the woods off of the road, and you could not see any of the other cabins nearby at all. We had the nice use of the owner's canoe to take a relaxing paddle around their lake across the street. My kids LOVED the bunk beds upstairs, and it was also nice having an assortment of games that we had never played before, and paper, books, and crayons for the kids. The cabin is also very centrally located that allowed us to visit Pictured Rocks in Munising, Munising Falls, Miners Castle, and "Kitch-iti-kipi" Big Springs. We also took a ride to the 1800's mining town inside the Fayette State Park - which was very cool! And while you are there, be sure to go and have dinner at the Jack Pine Lodge, just about 8 miles down the road - very nice place and good food! Thank you for a wonderful getaway! We had wished we didn't have to leave!

Relaxing Vaction - Great UP Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Cabin is nicely equipped, clean and set in quiet surrounding. Centrally located in the UP to make driving to the main attractions very easy. Owners made scheduling the vacation dates simple. Dvd player IS provided, so bring movies for a rain day or late night activity. Pet friendly is excellent!! Pictured rocks and Kitch-iti-kipi are both great destinations. Hope to be back! Thank you.

Awesome cabin, but watch out for mosquitos

  • 4 of 5

The cabin, property, lake, and weather were perfect. The cabin is very secluded and very nice. There were plenty of towels, crockery, etc. You could sleep 14, but it's going to be tight quarters. The owners were also great to work with. We visited the first week of June and none of our party is from Michigan, so we had no idea about the mosquitos in the UP this time of year. They were absolutely terrible. We spent about $100.00 on citronella candles, torches, bug sprays, you name it, and nothing worked. At about 10:00 pm, they would settle down and we could go outside, but during the day it was miserable. We tried fishing at the lake, but we were constantly swarmed by small flies that would get in your mouth, eyes, nose, ears, etc. We finally gave up and went home a day early. In short, if you're visiting when the mosquitos are not around, this place is fantastic. Go anywhere on the UP when the mosquitos are in season, and you're just wasting your money.

We would recommend this cabin rental to friends and relatives.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin interior was very nice and clean; well taken care of and nicely decorated with all amenities included. There isn't cable T.V. so we suggest bringing some DVD's for the player and a radio for entertainment if needed.

Great Place !!!!!

  • 5 of 5

It's quiet, in a nice area, and has everything we needed for a great family vacation. We loved going for hikes right out the back door and having campfires almost every night. We would absolutely recommend this to a friend.
