We spent four weeks at Casa Playa Bonita in early 2013 with a varying number of visitors ranging from just the two of us to six people at any one time. The property and area are as represented on the rental site. The owners are friendly, helpful and responsive. The full-time onsite staff is the same with daily cleaning, cooking assistance if desired and an off-site local property manager to assist with any needs including making sightseeing and transportation arrangements. And in our four weeks, the sun was never obscured by a single cloud. Perfect weather every day.
The onsite facilities are first class, bedrooms are spacious and extraordinarily quiet, wonderful kitchen, oceanside dining, wi-fi, Sonos, games, books, the nearly private beach is steps from your door with wonderful sand, comfortable water and playful waves, the sunsets perfect, and a nice selection of restaurants nearby including some that are walking distance. Angelina’s, a nearby place we visited eight times, is not to be missed. And if you tire of these, Tamarindo is only a short drive away.
In addition to the pools, jacuzzi and kayak, there was wave runner rental at the other end of the beach and the long beach is wonderful for walking, running and bird watching. Go to the next beach around the bend to the south for an empty beach and to see a grand troop of howler monkeys each evening.
So an exotic tropical location, a privately situated first class house, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, tour companies, and more all very close. You won’t regret choosing this property for your escape to paradise.
