Three of us stayed for 14 days in mid-April. Communication with the owner was fast, easy, friendly and complete; any questions were quickly answered. The check-in/departure processes with the management company and condo complex front desk were easy. The condo complex is fully equipped with pools and hot tub. The grounds are neat and clean. It's gated, and you get a car entry card from the front desk. The condo has a keypad lock and is quite secure. The window blinds all work well and can be fully closed for privacy. Furniture and carpets are clean and in good shape. The bedroom beds were very comfortable; we didn't use the pull-outs. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had a minor A/C problem early in our stay, but it was quickly fixed and the A/C kept the condo comfortable. There are a washer and dryer, and both worked well. Note that there is only a 'starter' amount of toilet paper and dish soap provided, and no laundry detergent.
The condo is near all theme parks - Universal Studios was the furthest away at about a 15 min. drive. The condo is very convenient to a Publix grocery store and a Walmart for anything you might need. Gas stations, restaurants (including fast food) and drug stores are nearby. (we had a good barbeque at "Smoky Bones" in the Publix shopping plaza, and a great breakfast at the IHOP near the corner of Hwy. 192 & Poinciana Blvd).
This is a great rental. For the price the condo is as good as it gets in the Kissimmee and theme park area. We very highly recommend it.
Dinner Show Tip: We went to "Capone's" dinner theater on a Sat. night. At $29.00 each for an entry ticket it was great value. The show was excellent and suitable for all ages. There was a good variety of buffet hot food (go early for seconds, because they don't leave it out a long time). Seating is pre-assigned, so book early to get good seats (you can use the internet).
Road Toll Tip: Plan your car driving beforehand and determine if you'll use toll roads. If you will - consider buying a Sunpass "Mini Transponder" for $5.00 (small stick-on unit) and opening a Sunpass account for your rental car license plate. (see https://www.sunpass.com/rentalcar). It's much cheaper than renting the rental car company's transponder. Remove the mini-transponder before returning the car (take a razor blade scraper to do this), close your Sunpass account after you leave, and Sunpass refunds the unused portion of your account money!
