My husband and I stayed for a week. The location is great! We went to Cherokee, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Hiawassee and more! The cabin had everything we needed. The location was private enough and very quiet. It was nice to have laundry facilities too! Close to river tubing, hiking and sight seeing. We are planning to go back at Spring Break if the cabin is available.
My husband and I came for a loooooong aniversary weekend. I have never stayed or visited the mountains so being from Florida the roads were a little scary LOL but beautiful.
This cabin was very clean and comfortable!! I have already recommended it to several friends.
Beautiful view and the deer came in numbers!! Nice relaxing weekend!

Im sorry that I am just now posting my comment on our stay at the cabin. My Husband and I stayed at this beautiful cozy cabin last year in october. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was more than I had imagined it to be. Everything that was posted on the web site about the cabin was the absolute truth. The pictures you see in the post are exactly what the cabin and the grounds look like. I was amazed by how well kept and clean everything was. The cabin looked BRAND NEW and everything in it. Louise (The owner) is a very nice lady. I have never met her but have had several phone conversations with her. She is very pleasant to talk to. It was so peaceful and quiet there that I didn't want to leave. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We were so satisfied and comfortable with our weeks stay there, that we are renting the larger cabin for this coming October. We will be taking my Mother with us on this upcoming trip. Oh and the rental price is very very reasonable.
This was a wonderful cozy cabin for me and my husband to enjoy while taking a week long class at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown. It was only 10 minutes to the school, very quiet, two other cabins are near by, but a very private feel especially when sitting on the back porch. A simple lovely layout that gave us a good nights sleep before our classes each day. We also enjoyed the fireplace on chilly nights with a warm cup of tea. We hope to stay there again when we take another class at Campbell. Thanks so much! Peace.
This cabin is exactly as it appears in the listing, right down to the deer that came for a visit in the back yard each evening. We also saw wild turkeys, a beaver and lots of turtles (must have been mating season) in the vicinity. The cabin is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable. There wasn't really a good place to sit and read with ample light, so bring your book light if you're a reader! The location is great - only 10 minutes or less to downtown, and very peaceful with little to no traffic noise. The covered porch is on the view side, which is important because we were able to enjoy the outdoors, and the easy to light gas grill, even on the three days it rained. The attached carport also came in handy with the rain. The owner was very helpful from start to finish. All in all this was a very enjoyable experience and we would stay here again and recommend to others.
