The Top 10 Lodge is an exquisite chalet style cabin built in 2009, located on 771 acre Big Lake of the famous Cisco Chain of Lakes consisting of 15 lakes and 270 miles of shoreline. This lakefront property can be found on county highway B, 12 miles west of Land O' Lakes and approximately 13 miles northeast of Boulder Junction.
This beautiful cabin consists of hardwood floors, 2 bedrooms plus a loft. It has 2 bathrooms and can sleep at least 7. There is a large deck for grilling and relaxing lakeside that also includes a picnic table to enjoy dining outdoors. The property is 3.7 acres and 200 feet of lake frontage for privacy and recreation. Our lakeshore has a sand bottom that gradually deepens all the way to the end of our dock. It is a GREAT LOCATION for kids to swim and play, or fish at the end of the dock. The dock itself is long and sturdy to keep your boat stationed throughout your visit.
There are numerous activities in the area to explore and experience. The Cisco Chain of Lakes is known for wonderful fishing; Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Large/Smallmouth Bass, and panfish. You can also enjoy all other boating activities, or relax on the water with a boat or pontoon rental from McCormack's Cisco Chain Marina. The marina is located 1 mile west of the cabin on county highway B, and offers a boat landing which makes it very convenient location from our property.
The Sylvania Wilderness and recreation area is located near Watersmeet, Michigan and has 18,000 plus acres of forest for those who want to hike, fish, canoe, picnic, or view mother nature. It is part of the Ottawa National Forest which consists of 1,000,000 acres of forest that extends from the south shore of Lake Superior to the Wisconsin border. Areas of interest include Black River Harbor, Sturgeon River Gorge Wilderness and numerous waterfalls to experience. Further north in Greenland, Michigan you can take a COPPER MINE TOUR at The Adventure Mine Company that is an experience in itself.
Boulder Junction has a multitude of bike, mountain bike and hiking trails for exploration and if your family gets tired of that there is more. Tennis courts, a basketball court and a small skateboard park are located there too. There is also the CHAIN SKIMMER WATERSKI SHOWS usually on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings 3 miles north of Conover Wisconsin.
There is a vast collection of activities to experience in this area that makes it truly a wonderful place to get away. But one of the best activities can be sitting on the deck, watching the Ducks swim by or the Bald Eagles flying above and DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT RELAX.
