Great Little Cabin in the Woods

We stayed two nights at the cabin and had a great experience. The cabin is very small but was perfect for my huband and me and our 8 month old son. We were looking for a nice quiet weekend getaway just to relax and spend time together and this cabin fit the bill, plus it was an easy two hours from west Ft Worth, which was very convenient. There are wonderful decks on both floors to sit and relax and watch the woodpeckers in the trees all around the cabin. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and comfortable, and we really appreciated the little "extras" from the owners to make our stay more pleasant. We are definitely planning to return in the future.

Weekend Getaway

This is a great place in the piney woods of East Texas to get away. The cabin is very nice and clean and super quiet....The owners made it easy to get in and never bothered us (unless we needed something)
It's close to Edom and Ben Wheeler where there good restaurantn close by. They also let some nice goodies for breakfast and a bottle of wine - very nice touc.

We look forward to another trip back here soon. Thanks James!

Awesome cabin in the woods

The cabin is awesome The location is so close to so many things to enjoy. .Tyler is right up the road.,also Canton,Edom and Ben Wheeler.Or you could just stay at the cabin and have a great time.The hosts are wonderful.Don't forget to eat at the Shed in Edom.

ya wanna stay here...

eastern texas in the spring..no prettier place to be...this cabin is a great base for traveling to local attractions...dance hall in ben wheeler was a gas...serious longhorn steer country...take a trip to lake cadoo and ride the oldest operating woodfired steam powered paddlewheel boat in the US..the cabin is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with each other...the waterbed is a delightful indulgence...the owners could not have been more hospitable...coyotes howling in the middle of the night in the distance add to the ambiance....we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place to anyone....get there!!

We stayed a weekend here, and the overall experience was excellent! The cabin is beautiful and in wonderful shape with comfortable amenities and a peaceful wooded surrounding. The owners are very thoughtful and kind. We look forward to going back!
