Or if you'd rather spend your day on the beach, a private gateway and vista to the beach is easily accessible via a short stroll, bike ride or our complimentary open air shuttle. The Village Green is a large open green space available for outdoor activities, music, theater, and special events. The community's library is a peaceful room for reading, relaxing, and getting online. You can have a comfortable indoor gathering with friends in our Community Room that features a private terrace and wet bar. When the big game is on, watch it with friends in the media room on our 65” HDTV! After the parties, get a great workout any time of the day or night with our Fitness Room, available 24/7 for owners and guests.
When furnishing our condo, we wanted the same luxuries we have at home from high thread count Egyptian linens to an XBox 360. Not only does the open living area have ample seating and a 58' LCD tv, but the large outdoor balcony has a sofa and two swivel, rocking chairs.
Our two bedroom, two and a half bath condo sleeps eight comfortably. Both bedrooms have king beds with Tempurpedic
mattresses ands 42' LCD tvs with large private baths. The bunk beds have pillow-top mattresses and there is also a queen sofa
The gourmet kitchen features Viking and Jenn-Air appliances and all the conveniences you expect from a fully stocked kitchen.
The dining table seats eight with additional seating for four at the bar.
There are so many things to do along 30A. Sandestin is a planned community within a brief 10 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants on-site at Baytowne Wharf. The award-winning communities of Seaside and Watercolor (5 minute drive) offer a year-round schedule of events and activities for the entire family. Publix is only 5 minutes away and Walmart is only 10 minutes way.
If you love to golf, you are at the right place. There are numerous courses including Ocean Club and Sandestin Golf courses. There is also a seventeen mile bike trail which runs along 30A in front of the complex. Southern Beach Management rents beach chairs, bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards.
Destin is known for deep sea fishing. That is exactly why it is known as 'The World's Best Fishing Village'. We love to fish with Casey and Wayne aboard the Fishin' Fool (850.837.9401).
If you are flying into the panhandle, the newly opened Panama City Beach International Airport (ECP) is only 30 miles away and is serviced by both Delta and Southwest Airlines.

We love the relaxing atmosphere on 30A, but love that it is less than 30 minutes east or west to Panama City and Destin.

We love the relaxing atmosphere of 30A. The beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We are still close enough to much entertainment and dining. We love the fact that Redfish is a new facility with so many amenities.
We love the large outdoor Viking Grills and all of the seating around the pool and on the wide decks above the pool. The kids love to fish off of the boardwalk that goes out onto Redfish Lake. The open air shuttle service to the beach makes getting to and from the beach so easy and seats our whole family. We love that there are private bathrooms for us to use right by the umbrellas and chairs that the beach service puts out for us. The shower also makes it nice so we leave most of the sand at the beach.
An amazing condo! The beach was out of this world! We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and would recommend this location anyone!
Fabulous condo, in a fabulous location. Everything in the unit was immaculate and updated. Very comfortable and spacious. Convenient location to enjoy the entire area and just steps from the beach. Can't wait to stay here again. What a great owner to work with as well. Can't say enough good things about this experience.
Just realized that I never left a review for this fantastic condo. Perfect location - the beach is just a five minute walk away and is fantastic. Santa Rosa is a perfect base to enjoy the area. As per other reviews, this condo has nothing missing - everything is immaculate and up-to-date. Best thing about this condo is that owner Pam is marvelous to work with - always accessible and always willing to help. I realize that this may spur others to rent this property ahead of me but I have to tell the truth.
Our family has traveled annually to 30-A since 2009 and by far Blue Mountain Beach is my favorite area. It's away from the uppity attitude of Seaside and far enough from the very much congested Destin. Don't get me wrong we love visiting the charming village if Seaside, but this area is where I can rest my head and feel at peace. And this condo by far exceeded my expectations. I always feel a little leery booking through vrbo, but Pam was exceptional to work with. She was very accommodating and professional. She definitely put my nerves at ease while talking on the phone with her. She was very prompt in her responses. The condo itself was nicely decorated and the beds were all super cozy. Our kids definitely enjoyed the comfy bunk beds. They also provided a pack n play which we used in the master closet and it was the perfect nook for our baby girl. A nice surprise was a stroller and boogie boards which we used everyday. The creamery across the street is worth the visit and calories, but bring cash! Redfish was a great, well thought out condo. We lounged on the veranda located on each floor of the condo and the redfish lake was serene and lovely. However, our highlight was the functional kitchen with plenty of silverware and dishes. We cooked all our meals at the condo and looked forward to relaxing after a long day at the beach. The property is conveniently located to the Publix off of 98. All in all, our family can't wait to book again at this property next April 2015!
we absolutely love Blue Mountain Beach since it is so close to Destin but so much quieter.....this unit was awesome and had everything we needed.. we rented a toddler bed for our daughter that fit in one of the master suites.... we went to maries and nicks to eat and we always love Blue Mountain Creamery...we walked almost everynight to get ice cream...would highly recommend this unit and location!!!!
While the condo has upscale appliances and furniture including a wonderful dining room table, many things need to be maintained. The towels and linens are worn and need to be replaced. The shower valve handle was broken in one master bath rendering it inoperable. There was no dresser or even a luggage rack in one of the master bedrooms. There are no window coverings on the living room/porch glass doors. The code did not work for the owner's lounge so that amenity was never available. The wi-fi was intermittent and rarely worked at night.
Redfish Village is located 5 minutes from two Publix Supermarkets and Walmart. Many restaurants are nearby and you are extremely close to one of the largest designer outlet malls, Silver Sands. The new regional hospital is only 15 minutes away on 98 West. There are two airports within a 30 minute drive. Bike rentals are just across the street. There are many activities in nearby Seaside, Watercolor, and Sandestin.
